The new cameras and defensive icon for fly balls are making it hard to make a straight up comparison between the two years. I'll play a few more and see if I can tweak the options to make the two more similar.
In your impression you mentioned pitcher quick counts I believe? Is it possible to pitch a game as normal but use quick counts only when hitting?

I don't pay too close attention to budgets in franchise, but are these base on actual real life budgets or the quality of the team in the game (ratings wise)? It doesn't seem to correlate with how teams actually spend (in relation to eachother).

No and you can't change the option once you're in a game. So if you select quick counts, you can't just turn it off in say the 7th inning.

Ramone confirmed awhile ago that is not possible.

If no one else tackles this, I'll try when my kid goes to bed.

It appears all the teams have:
Home, Away, Alternate, Warmup, Thowback Home, Throwback Away, and some have something like "old throwback," but those appear to be for teams that have been around forever.

Did Manny Machado get a new face scanned or does he have a generic in game face?

Was the crowd(the roar, like i just won the WS, after every out and strike) fixed for this year, for both platforms?

Check NYYanks26 post in the impressions thread. He talks about the crowd and it sounds a big improvement!

In years past you might be able to just guess where the ball is going to land but this year, if you even hesitate for a split second, that ball is getting past you.
That is not necessarily the wind, it is the new dynamic catch indicator. It will constantly have you on the move and very rarely can you run to a spot and wait. Any wind will only add to the uncertainty.

I thought it was wind at first as well when I first tried it. Once you get used to the mechanic of the marker, it makes fielding feel so much "fresher."
