Picked off 4 times in 3 games which is ridiculous. Plus you have no idea if your guy is going. No hit and run sign or take a pitch, nothing. I hate this new version. We should at least have the option.

Agree tdogg........that was my goto feature using auto baserunning. Beside deciding my own leadoffs and steal attempts, I could hit and run when feeling lucky.

Is it possible we can do something with the sliders: Baserunner Steal Ability and Baserunner Steal Frequency till the guys from SCEA get a patch out?

Manual baserunning. There you go, all your problems are solved. People complain about baserunning. Its called AUTO baserunning for a reason.

Manual baserunning. There you go, all your problems are solved. People complain about baserunning. Its called AUTO baserunning for a reason.

In The Show 13, it was a lot easier to control stealing with auto baserunning manually. I know what these guys are talking about. The devs should fix it.

exactly some of us here just like to bat and not control the baserunning, half of the time I forgot to send the guys running after a good hit because I am watching it and celebrating. happened to me the other night trying it on manual and by the time I realised I had not even moved the guy from 2nd and 3rd to home after what should have been a double I was NOT happy.

I even turned CPU pickoffs down to 0 on the slider.. still happens though its anoying

Not to be greedy but for people who would like auto stealing on while using auto baserunning is that still an option or is it like last year where it's auto baserunning/manual stealing and you can't toggle it on/off?

I ended up having to be on auto again trying assist was driving me crazy I kept panicking to run on the bases hitting the wrong buttons lol. but auto I can't steal now ahhhh


Glad to hear that it is being address and hopefully fixed it's the only complaint I really have this year as far as gameplay goes

I doubt a new option will be patched in, but it's something to throw on the table for next year.

Roger. Thanks for the answer. The way I like to play is keeping everything besides pitching/hitting on auto to keep the playing field even since humans will always have an advantage over a CPU but it's not as big a deal.

The optimal option for me would be to have auto baserunning but the ability to manually override anything the CPU decides for your team so you could do situational hit n runs or steals, sort of like assist sliding if you choose to steal or leadoff that overrides what the CPU has decided for that pitch to do with the base runners. I just confused myself.
