If that's how it is, I'm okay with it, as I find more positive than negative outcomes from the mode. My lone concern is that pitchers have enough stamina to pitch a decent number of innings, so if anything, I might consider upping pitcher stamina a touch. Because really, if you're using QC, that weird ball:strike ratio and the high recorded pitches don't actually affect you at all, and so long as batting averages and ERAs are good, they don't matter. So I suppose I'm looking more at the end result and less at that other stuff. But that's just me.

Perhaps, considering the outpouring of support for QC here, I need to reconsider my thoughts with regards to QC. Like most of you, I've been getting great stats realism from it but the mechanics of attaining them (via pitching changes, runner advancement and double switches) seem unwieldy.

It's not a perfect system. I would like it to be tweaked to have 0-0 counts here and there. The mode kinda forces your hand a bit and can take away some baseball strategy. It's likely something they thought about but ultimately decided they had to make the feature a certain way to get game play time down.

Sadly I'm sure the casuals had a bit of influence. I'm sure there are people who never bunt or take pitches out there. They have to think about those guys as well as much as it pains me to say that.

I'm 100% happy with SDS's first effort at QC, but I would like at some point in the future to be able to choose which counts & what % they randomly come up. This way each user can enjoy QC in his or her own personal choice. The more options the better I always say.

Going to do a few balancing changes in the next patch. I'll give more info on said changes at a later date. But since I'm here probably going to drop one pitch off from the 3-2 counts and have slightly more 1-1 counts than 2-1 counts, a bit fewer foul tips.

Thanks for the insight. Sounds like some positive changes right there.

By the way, I'm loving the QC feature. Played 2 games in the time it took me to play 1 in prior years.

QC's are a GAME CHANGER and I'm happy to see these will be tweaks rather than big changes! Seems to be all it needs. Small refinements; the mode is really well done.

Do Quick Counts not work in The Show Live? Some users are reporting that they did, but they don't anymore? Was there an update that messed this up?

Interesting that there were no 0-1 and 2-0 counts at all. I wonder if they don't exist in QC. I've only had time to play about 6 games and haven't paid attention to this.

Thanks, Russell! It's great to hear that this stuff can be tweaked in patches. I was hoping so. I don't think it will take too much to iron out the kinks and make it near perfect, but then again, I'm no game developer/programmer.

Thanks! Once again San Diego Studio strives to take an A+ game and turn it into an A++ game. Too many other companies stop work after they get your dollar, The Show could cost $120 and that would STILL be a bargain. Thanks again.

The beautiful thing about 1-1 counts...they are like the holy grail for pitchers. In college we always had our 1-1 strike %. It's a world of difference between a 1-2 count and a 2-1.

                          Appreciate the tweaks!

Awesome to hear that some balancing is in the works. It sounds like the updates will address literally the only thing I've done to sliders.

ND and others who are enjoying QC, I'm finding that the best adjustment for the high pitch counts and strike:ball ratios is a stamina adjustment for SP, both HUM and CPU. I have so far added +1 for starter stamina and am seeing pitchers get through a more realistic number of innings. My experience in Spring Training was that at default stamina, pitchers were getting through 5 and were super gassed by that point; getting through 6 was an exercise in frustration due to pitchers being at or near zero energy. With the +1, I've gotten through 6 regularly, through 7 twice, and through 8 once in about 5 games.

Just another .02 about how to make this feature work best. I'm loving it!

How's everyone strikeout and BB numbers looking so far? Specifically with your starters.

I played another 7 games last night, meaning I've played close to 30 games. My highest single game performance has been 8 K's (Kershaw and King Felix), but otherwise it's usually 3-4 K's with my starter.

And man, the walks! Holy smokes. LOL! Averaging around 5 per game.

Loving how erratic Pulse is this year, but combine that with the 3 ball counts and I'm still struggling to find a balance with my K to BB ratios.

These are my team stats after 15 games in Spring Training. I'm at 22 games now and will post stats for specific starters and relievers, but I'm currently mid-game and paused while grading. This at least gives you a sense of K/9 and BB/9.

                                Pitching Stats:
