and I dont use either choice for Stewart or Heyward

        CARLOS TORRES-SP/RP (White Sox)

        Delivery: Lewis

I had to update this guys arsenal; as it is incorrect/incomplete

I dropped the 4-seam fastball, since he throws his cutter a majority of the time, and because he also throws two types of curves

        cutter-93mph

        slider-88mph

        12-6-77mph

        change-82mph

        curve-79mph

          Re: BATTING STANCE/PITCHING DELIVERY THREAD

Watching highlights of Sunday's game, I noticed Votto's stock stance might work well for Carlos Gonzalez (the Ordonez stance I have on my roster -based on v2- is pretty good)

          Werth--> Rios or Rowand stance?

Willits/Dickerson stance is 'centered' (with feet/legs neither open nor closed to the pitcher)
just hit L1 or R2 twice, put the feet in line, and work from there
          .
Some suggestions are off, I like the open/close stance being correct!

BTW, I disagree on what you call a "closed" stance Rod, for Kelly Johnson:

his feet are in line with the box ('centered'), and he's showing his back.
gen101 has parkinson on his front leg; Johnson doesn't move... gen90 works (kouz is bent over unlike Kelly J)

Ummmm HELLO! I've been watching Johnson since his debut with Atlanta....
did you notice the camera angle on the clip? THAT camera is off center, and angled IN from left of the mound....

if that camera is in-line...like in Minnesota (aimed DIRECTLY in the middle of homeplate), you will see that Johnson's stance is CLOSED...not to the degree of Ben Zobrist's, but closed nevertheless

who cares anymore. Pick the stance you like and fits the best. Everytime I would give any suggestions (no matter how exact) somebody would disagree 100%. I do agree the straight on angle is the only way to tell.

ElectricWizard we're not disagreeing, in fact I like most of Rod's choices, that's why I'm here!
We were just debating whether he was slightly closed or not.
I'm there to help not to complain! (Rod hadn't thought of someone's gen74 suggestion for Rios, for example)
Bush stadium has an in-line cam too, other NL venues?

Speaking of Zobrist (another stock stance totally off), some have suggested Scott Hairston, which other one would you guys suggest?

I know this is going to be a popular question when he eventually is called up in September so I will ask it now... Anyone have a pitching motion for the 105mph throwing Aroldis Chapman? Thanks in advance

Devs, we're looking for the 105 mph heat in next year's edition! (we're not really looking for it, just looking to throw it lol).

Some have suggested D.Willis, I use gen33 with hafner stance, and I switched him to CP (that's what he's been doing in AAA Louisville).

                              CHRIS SALE-RP (White Sox)

                              Delivery:

he's a sidearmer that uses a full windup with the bases empty. In this game, there is only one delivery that incorporates both (albeit poorly)...and that is Heilman's.

With that said, when Sale is pitching from the stretch position...in this game, there is only one delivery that incorporates the sidearm, the glove 'away' position at the set and a somewhat in-the-ballpark follow through---and that is Stetter's delivery.

                              I'm gonna go with Stetter.......

This kid, who was drafted this year, has thrown the following since his call up recently:

                              4-seam (102mph; I saw 101 twice...Hawk Harrelson mentioned that he's gone that high once, since his call-up)

                              sinker (98mph)

                              slurve (85mph)

                              slider (89mph)

I have not seen a changeup in 4 of the games I saw him pitch in. Although prior to the draft, it was noted that he has one; that he prefers to use vs. righties

hey rod, check out gen 26 (i believe?) but that is also a full windup sidearm motion, there may be another or so also in the generics
