    @ bhs16

    Gen 26 stinks three ways....

    1) wind-up too slow

    2) the end of the follow through is in front of the mound (wrong); when Sale finishes...it's HARD towards third base

    3) at the start of his windup, his glove position is in front/at his face; gen 26 is at chest level (wrong)

    * for the record...there 20...count 'em...20 sidearm or submarine deliveries in the game *

    Trust, I know what's available...as I've catagorized all of them:wink:

          LUCAS HARRELL-SP (White Sox)

the stutter/toe tap thing he does in his delivery is not that uncommon among major league starters..and looking through the possible candidates, Phil Hughes' would be the best, but...that delivery is too slow and the glove position at the middle of the delivery is too high up...as in all of the qualifying choices...

Derrick Lowe aint good either...noe of the others were good. This is one of those deliveries where ya really gotta settle--which I HATE to do.

So...I just settled on Wandy Rodriguez' delivery.
Bonderman and Miller were in the final running

I just noticed Griffey's stock stance fits well Redbird Jon Jay. He's not open enough but there's none closer, the bat wiggle (Jay's really unique) is pretty close, too...

                  AARON HILL-2B (Blue Jays)

OK folks, we will put this insanity over Aaron Hill's stance to rest right here...

I JUST watched three of his AB's from this past Sunday's game against Detroit.

The camera angle towards home plate in centered---NOT off-centered

I went through ALL of the stances in this game. And I'm gonna say this again...SOME of you...and the guilty know who they are...NEED to LOOK through ALL of the stances and deliveries before you post some of this madness...I mean really......

                  Hill's signature points are:

                  a) moderately crouched

                  b) hand/bat positioning is AT/ABOVE helmet height

                  c) his torso is close to being upright

                  d) slightly open stance

                  e) small/quick bat movement; legs really have no movement

The ONLY stances that have most of the above five are:

                  Delgado, E. Encarnacion and Kemp

With that said, personally, I'm gonna go with Encarnacion's

                  So.....

FORGET Thome; too upright and not crouched enough

FORGET Gomes; not gonna even go there

FORGET Wright; bat/hand positioning not close, toooo much bat movement, front foot tap is wrong,

Thank you! That's what I've been trying to say about Thome! And ya I don't know why they brought up those 2 (gomes and Wright) . I did saw someone suggest Encarnacion, but delgado and kemp is the first I've heard and went through them but didn't notice much.. gonna check 'em out and see what I like the best.

Just watch.. the madness isn't gonna stop.. knowing those naggers especially the newcomers out there

EDIT: Just checked 'em out.. I'll have to agree Edwin Encarnacion is probably the best despite the leg movement and not as crouched but it is probably closest.

Well that sets the record straight on the search for Aaron Hill's stance.

At first I didn't think anyone would notice that it would be between Delgado, Encarnacion, and Kemp. But now, we know for sure.

By the way, I personally went with Delgado for Hill's stance.

you know what, I almost missed Delgado's when I was scrolling through them...but once I had the three to choose from, I just went with Encarnacion

Speaking of Delgado, I gave him D. Wright's stance...his own just didnt sit right with me...

I'd personally say Pierzynski or Barmes for Delgado. Wright's stance would've been perfect for Delgado if it were a little more open.
