Okay sounds good. There are a couple things that I want to mess with. A few guys have too much control and some have too little. I'll take care of perez and pelfrey also. SCEA does a pretty good job on everything except pitch types though.

I'll take care of benson and milton. The other one is probably Ponson. I'll get him too.

Actually I think I'll do this. I'll make it a slider and then add a sweeping curve so it's the same thing except with more break.

Hey, are you sure you uploaded your most recent version?

You say St. Louis is done, but I see numerous fake players:
        Waylon Giese
        Jeff Ullman
        Young-Il Lim
        Jamar Sefarini
        Lucien Miranda
        Sendy Barajas
        Stanton Waters
        Zack Howard
        Herschel Place
        Jess Oskie
        etc...

I know your rosters are loaded, though, 'cause I see Brett Wallace, Tyler Greene, and Blake Hawksworth...

Edit: the file I'm loading is "FMv2aEarly"

Knight, are you going to apply my edits that I sent you in the first update or 3rd???

In case you don't remember, it had underrated/overrated players and stuff for prospects and major leaguers in the game. I can re-send the list if needed.

I believe you are misreading his post -- He is saying the NL West and those 3 teams are not done.

Haha... to me it read, "the NL West is the only ones not done... Cards, Brewers and Astros are now done."

              Sorry about the confusion!

Good, Micah Owing's is probably the best hitting pitcher in baseball now. You have to be careful with him in real life, so I am glad that will be reflected in the rosters. More consistent than Zambrano, more power than Hampton.

In real life a 4 seam fastball can have movement. If you up the movement in MLB 09 the Show, does it not have any movement? Does it have any appearance of movement? (I know there is no target circle showing any "break"). I don't think it does, but I have not experimented.

Too bad it doesn't (I am assuming) in The Show because there are a lot of guys in the MLB that throw 4 seams (that is there grip) that have movement.

It doesn't. If you put 4 seam movement to 99 it still goes dead straight.

The first will have edits for correct lineups.
The second will have all scea stats except for minors because knight created those.
The third will be edited to knights liking.
So if I understand this correctly. The second set will have 40 man rosters and full minors, but the lineups might be messed up because of the default attributes that came with the stock SCEA rosters. If we want correct lineups, we need to go with either the first or third versions that Knight has created. So far so good.

Regardless of which rosters we end up using, can we still apply updates from SCEA (e.g. patches) without messing up our season or franchise?

                            Thanks. That's what I thought.

By the way, I totally agree with how you're deciding on pitching. Last year, you and I discussed Carlos Zambrano, and his pitching repetoire (sp?). For instance, some analysts say he throws a sinker, while others say he throws a sinking 2-seamer. To me it's more of a sinking 2 seamer because of the late break (as opposed to Brandon Webbs real sinker). The game doesn't really have a true sinking 2-seamer, it acts more like a traditional 2 seamer.

It can be a tough call with some of these pitches. Forkballs and Split-fingers are very close in real life and there is just a slight difference in the way they are thrown. With the forkball, you have to have bigger hands because your index finger and middle finger are split out more on the ball than the split-finger. The way you throw them are exactly the same (same as a fastball, some say you throw the splitter harder, but that is not what I was taught in college), but the splitter has a later sharper "dip" than the forkball. Some say it has more rotation as well and that the forkball has less spin, but that once again depends on the pitcher.

At the end of the day it really doesn't matter what you call the pitch as long as it behaves as closely to real life.

Anybody getting an eephus (ephus alt. sp.) off the top of your head? I am pretty sure Levon Hernandez of the Mets (and occasionally Orlando Hernandez) (I know one guy does because I just saw one of them throw it) throws one. Was there room for this pitch? Totally understandable if there isn't since its more of a "catch them off guard, surprise" pitch.
