Since two of those players happen to be former Miami Hurricanes, that made me wonder about Tommy Giles (Dodgers). Will he be included?

HA! Blake and Cesar are very good friends of mine. As well as most of the current Hurricanes studs that came out recently....They always ask me what their rating is and if they are even in the game when these games come out.

Trust me, alot of these minor league kids are VERY thankful for these edits since guys like Knight will include them.

That's awesome.

Blake, Yonder, Jemile, Braun, Jon Jay, Danny Figueroa and Tommy Giles are a few of my all-time favorite players at any level. My minor league system, for whatever team I decide to use, will be full of many former Hurricanes. It's not because I'm a fan of the Hurricanes, but because those guys are just amazing players and I respect their game so much.

On a related note, after the MLB '08 draft, I made Yonder, Jemile, Carlos Gutierrez and Blake for my Show '08 rosters, along with many of the other top players in the draft.

Speaking of those guys, I hope that Jon Jay, Paco Figueroa and Danny Figueroa make it into the roster set. I can see Danny being left off, but Jon Jay definitely deserves to make it in. Jon Jay and Paco did make it into Knight's '08 set.

hey knight, just curious is you will be making any adjustments to the players walk up or HR music?

i didnt think you were but wanted to suggest NOT doing any tweak there. The music wont tranfer over in the roster file and even if you are using a track pack and i am also using the same track pack, it will tranfer over some things correctly, but about 80% of it will be screwed up. Meaning, no music at all, or the same walk up music for a group of players.

for some who would edit every player, this wont matter cause they would fix it anyways. But for people only editing a few players this would be a big mess.

i started a franchise with ridins file, but knowing i have to restart again when your file is released means the current chise is like spring training. Cant wait till your done!!

I just discovered OS and the awesomeness that is Knight and the guys yesterday. I just wanted to say that you are my new heroes, and thank you for all your hard work. I can't wait to see the finished project, and promptly go win Gordon Beckham his rookie of the year and his first MVP!

I'm a little late to the party here but keep up the good work Knight & co.! I attempted to fill out most of the minors last year for '08(on the ps2)and never finished it. Great work guys

hey, first want to thank knight and co. you guys make the game better for baseball fans.

I do have one question though, i was playing your teaser update with the al 40man and top prospects and i noticed that some players stats had been lowered. Russel Martin and Orlando Hudson are usually A overall when starting a new franchise and are now B. Also Reed Johnson and Joe Inglett's hitting stats have been significantyl decreased. Was just wondering if you had gone through and lowered them or if SCEA did it in an update, and if it was you that changed it if there would be a download in the future avalable with those players returned to their original stats

I dont know if anyone pointed this outor you realized it yourself. On your rosters there are about four or five A potential players yet to be named. I know Raun from the Blue Jays (OF) and Dondaldson (CF) from the Cubs... and a few pitchers.... are on there and can be used for the next best prospects. You cant turn the pitchers into hitters and vice-versa, but throwing in a Daniel Schlereth as CP with a A potential would be pretty cool.

What? He doesn't have any rosters out yet except the AL only file which isn't even what he's working on now.

Yea, I downloaded the AL set and found a couple on the AL side, but a few more on the NL side.... "A" rated prospects can only be created and only about 5 or 6 total that were created by default when the latest roster update was sent out. For more a better experience with the rosters, A potential should be limited to the top 25 prospects rated by the service (Baseball America....) that your using to create all the good prospects. Just a FYI. Good job Knight, I can see your putting alot of time and effort into this, if any help is needed let me know.

Whats funny is that Ridingrosters actually have all the names of the minor leaguers, but the hieghts/weights, appearance, jersey numbers and potential are ALL wrong. Yea, i downloaded those rosters, and Wilmer Flores, 17 y/o SS from the Mets org. who's supposed to be the next Miguel Cabrera, has an F potential.............That killed them for me.

EDIT: Knight, makes sure Wilmer Flores does not have an F potential!!!! lol

Was ur AL set the same one that will be released later? If so i noticed u left alot of AL prosepcts off the rosters....guys like Jemile Weeks and other Top 10 kids. My concern is since they will be in low-A this year, u might not include them.

I'm pretty sure that his A.L. set was not even close to being complete.
