fyi, the Cubs are no longer wearing CoolFlo helmets (if you want photographical evidence, I can provide it). They have switched back to the old style helmets (I know it's a pain to edit every player to give them the old-style helmet, sorry).

Actually...that might be the easiest edit in the set!

Just wanted to give a thanks for all of your hard work here. I was trying to do a set for myself and I got through the Mets and a few top prospects before I gave up. Your dedication is amazing.

The full minors roster update you are doing now.. is that also the one that will have the 40 man opening day rosters or you're doing a minors one and a 40 man??

I'm a little confused cause I saw someone post something about you having two different rosters coming out. Sorry this is my first year with the show. I promise i won't have to waste your time with questions like this next year

Probably the two different rosters you heard of were one with edits to players ratings to help the Lineup AI logic so you get close to accurate real lineups while the other roster has the out of the box player ratings for the most part.

Both of these rosters will have the opening day 40-man rosters and real players in the AAA and AA for every team.

Every team will have the top 15 prospects, as well as a few extra depending on the team/system. The top 25 prospects in the league will have a A potential rating and 26 to 100 should have a B potential rating (that is the best that the game design will allow I think). EDIT: I think I read that by the time Knight gets done with every team there actually may be close to 300 prospects across the league.

From what I read the AAA teams will be accurate to the actual AAA couterpart while the AA teams will be mostly prospects mixed in with real AA players. Of course I expect Knight to try to make it as accurate as he possibly can.

Knight - just a heads up, but the latest roster release from SCEA (23/03) has scuppered the historical stats loading workaround...the official roster is fine, but any roster not based on this current one doesn't load the historical stats correctly - unfortunately...SCEA have obviously changed something in this update to affect the workaround....

I know it'll be too late for you to base your roster on the official one but just thought I'd let you know mate.

Knight - just a heads up, but the latest roster release from SCEA (23/03) has scuppered the historical stats loading workaround...the official roster is fine, but any roster not based on this current one doesn't load the historical stats correctly - unfortunately...SCEA have obviously changed something in this update to affect the workaround...

I've never in my life heard that word before so I just learned something today (I looked it up, of course) . Anyways, carry on...

Just wanted to say thanks Knight for all your hard work. You've saved me from waiting on a good online update and saved me from days of editing line ups and such. Am grateful for SCEAs updates with adding new players but with your rosters I don't believe the need will be there anymore to download SCEA anymore. Now I can play more, edit less.
