I can agree with that. I can't wait for baseball to start.

Thanks. It's mostly because I have a huge video collection of my favorite songs.

for those of you who have been asking about if the rosters being released after opening day will still be opening day rosters, im not 100% sure but im pretty sure Knight is still releasing them as opening day rosters, however, like last year, I will establish a thread that will track all the teams actual transactions/injuries, etc so with roster control ON, you can keep teams as up to date and as accurate as possible.

I will try to get a few more teams' stances/motions done tonight and tomorrow but as I have mentioned, it has been a somewhat slow process cuz I have been working at my job later than normal lately so Ive had less time and I am not working with updated rosters so all guys who are on the wrong team or who are on the FA list need to be added to a team before I can edit them. Some guys when I release my Word file w/ all the stances and motions Ive done still might be listed as being on the wrong team cuz I am not working from Knights latest roster but from the defaults

Bonifacio will be the lead-off hitter for the Marlins with Maybin batting 8th.

            The order is now:
Bonifacio, Baker, Hanley Ramirez, Jorge Cantu, Dan Uggla, Jeremy Hermida, Cody Ross, Maybin and Ricky Nolasco

It is expected that eventually Maybin will bat second, giving the Marlins three speedsters in the top of the order.

              thanks for the help though

maybin is gonna hit 2nd vs lefties:

Manager Freddi Gonzalez has named Emilio Bonifacio the Marlins' leadoff hitter to start the season.
He still makes for a great waiver addition, but the job might not be his for long. Should Bonifacio struggle out of the gate, Gonzalez said Cameron Maybin is waiting in the wings. Catcher John Baker is expected to hit second against right-handers with Maybin in the eight-hole. Against lefties, Maybin will bat second with Ronnie Paulino catching and batting eighth.

Knight, here is your O's Opening Day Roster (with line-up as close as I can see it).

                      STARTING LINEUP

                      2B Brian Roberts
                      CF Adam Jones
                      RF Nick Markakis
                      1B Aubrey Huff
                      3B Melvin Mora
DH Luke Scott/Ty Wigginton (platoon against RHP/LHP)
                      LF Felix Pie
                      SS Cesar Izturis
                      C Greg Zaun

                      BENCH

                      C Chad Moeller
                      OF Ryan Freel
                      Util Robert Andino

                      ROTATION

                      Jeremy Guthrie
                      Koji Uehara
                      Alfredo Simon
                      Mark Hendrickson
                      Adam Eaton*

                      BULLPEN

                      LR - Matt Albers
                      LR - Brian Bass*
                      MR - Danys Baez
                      MR - Dennis Sarfate
                      MR - Jim Johnson
                      MR - Jamie Walker
                      SU - Chris Ray
                      CL - George Sherrill

                      * - One of these three will not be on the team to start the year. Seems rumors on the MASNSports Orioles Blog say that Eaton may start in the minors until his rotation spot comes up (April 12th). If not Eaton, Bass will have to pass through waivers (which he won't make it through) or Beaz will be released.

Also, here is 38 of the 40 man rosters, and you can add Chad Moeller to that (and Eaton if he starts the year with the big club)

Knight, this box score is a good sample of the Reds AA team...just thought it might help with getting the full minors finished...our farm system is scary good...Francisco looks like a young Miguel Cabrera, and Yonder looks promising...however, Arroyo & Cordero scare me...

Francisco has a ton of potential, but his plate discipline is poor, even for his young age. He could turn into a great power hitter, but he probably won't develop into the type of hitter that Miguel Cabrera is. Yonder easily has the potential and the ability to hit like Cabrera.

Is Drew Stubbs really going to hit behind Yonder? He should be hitting first or second.

he supposedly had the power potential at one point to hit behind Alonso (6'4 and built), but he has never displayed it in the minors...I don't know why they had him hitting there. This game verifies my prediction that if the Reds front office doesn't crap their pants in the next two years they will win right before they enter pittsburgh pirates territory. The talent is there, much stronger than some right now on the major league roster.
