Knight, something I read about the White Sox is that they plan on converting RHP Jack Egbert into a reliever in Triple-A Charlotte (the roster is also apparently is set on the Knight's website). Also the pitch selection for LHP Aaron Poreda should be: Sinker, Running Fastball, Slider, and Changeup. His fastballs are MLB ready, but his other two pitchers are still only average at best.

Re: Full Minors Roster for '09
Just a little heads up boys....
I'm gonna buy myself a little extra time.....by releasing version 1 tomorrow.
It will have all the correct players for every level for....
-AL EAST
-AL CENTRAL
-AL WEST
-NL EAST
Most faces are done(quickly..but pretty good, I'd say)....
ALL teams will have every 40 man roster player.
The top 100 prospects are done.
The lineups are done.
This version will have about 600-650 players that I created.
The final version(when the NL CENTRAL and NL WEST are done) will have about 1000 new players.
I will still have another version out this Sunday(night) that will have more teams done...but I think it will still be 4 short(Colorado, Arizona,Houston and St. Louis will be the last ones done).
I will still be refining even the work I've done.
I PM'ed Kolbe about the stats...I'll let you know where we stand on that.

Re: Full Minors Roster for '09
What awesome timing. I finally bought my copy this afternoon before work and have the next two days off.
Could someone be kind enough to reiterate how you get these rosters? Download them off the sportsconnect, correct? Is the file name "Knight" or anything like that? Thanks. After more than eight years on here, I finally figured out how to edit my time zone!Comment

Re: Full Minors Roster for '09
So if I follow correctly. You are:
1. Releasing a set tomorrow that will have four divisions complete. Does this mean that only the top 100 prospects will be created for the remaining two divisions?
2. Your are releasing another full set later that will be totally done... ie faces, atts. I am guessing that this will be sometime in May correct?
3. Razar will do pitch edits to which file?
I am just making sure I understand because I do not want to start my Dodgers franchise if you are going to be releasing another one in a couple of weeks that is 100x better for Dodger guys.
Thank you for doing thisComment

Re: Full Minors Roster for '09
A very nice surprise indeed. Are you able to provide a little more details on the four teams you mentioned. I'd like to start a "season" with the Cardinals. I'm not too concerned about any minor leaguers below AAA. Nor am I overly concerned about the the appropriate stances and pitch edits. Would version 1 be suffice enough to play out a season with the red birds?
Thanks for all your hard work!PSN: sportdan30
