I know this has already been discussed and the answer was no by Knight and Co. but does anybody with a PS3 think they'd be up to the task of posting a text version of these rosters? I know it's a huge order, but us PS2 users would really like to use these in our own franchises. An excel spreadsheet would be ideal but even just a word document listing everything would suffice.

That's something that I took off a Rangers baseball site and not exactly my personal opinion. I do agree that Salty isn't all that special but I'm just not ready to put Andrus too high on the list until he shows at least some interest in not becoming the next Alfonso Soriano (read - a guy that can hit for some power, good average, and great speed but can't field a ball).

Oddly, the guy he reminds me of right now? BJ Upton. Upton was a SS who had error problems at around the same age, got called up to the Show at a very young age, etc. We'll see. The difference between Soriano and Andrus, IMO, is that Andrus has the range Soriano didnt at 2B. This is, of course, my opinion, based on watching Andrus play a handful of times, but I think he has very good range, I'd rate him a 2 on a 1-5 scale(1 being a GG, 5 being Iron Glove).

I heard a rumor that these might not come out until the All-Star break as bosshog78 is behind on his part of the project because of writing long winded essays and proverbial smackdowns to the impatient masses in this thread... this is unconfirmed.

Has anyone set up charities to donate to since $ donation is not being taken directly? I'll buy you guys a beer when I see you.

As I stated, for knight, a charity dealing with NYC firefighters would be great since he is a firefighter, for myself, please donate to spinal chord and paralysis research since I went through that when I broke my neck and spine and can now walk due to fantastic doctors and whatnot, for Razr, I am not sure.

a quick question to knight and co. I have a subscription to ron shandlers baseball hq, cost 100 bucks a yr, its great for the fantasy player but they use a lot of research and I was wondering if this was someting that could help u out?

Nothing presumptuous about it, all i had to do was read what you typed. With such a bold statement about a 18/19 year old kid that is so outrageous and it just shows that you havent followed his progression in the minors.

You must use the phrase "pretty good grasp" pretty loosely. But obviously you know more than BP,BA, MLB.com, ESPN, Sickels, Law, Ballew, Goldstein...i envy your knowledge...

Just a quick question. Do these rosters include all non rookies that are not in the game? Like Millar, Jamie Walker etc..

Hey Knight. I'm probably going to get yelled out for asking this because im a little too lazy to read this thread. But anyway...
what is the process of rosters which will be released? What I mean by this is:
First-40 man roster and 50 prospects, released as soon as possible
then-what is the next roster to expect and how long until this one is released
and are there any rosters after this one to be released?
