They said that they are hoping to have the rosters ready by opening day, if not shortly after. Anywhere from April 3-15 i think is what they said.

You don't have to. Just look through some of most recent pages or use the "Search this Thread" feature.

I'm not trying to be rude. It's just that this is asked way too many times.

aholbert...you misread what I posted!
I was 2 teams away from being done with....all the 40 man rosters for each team........the 50 top prospects ....with the lineup "fix"...not from being totally done with those teams! I'm not a machine!!!
This was with the updated pitch base from Razr and his guys(totally different from the A.L. one I was doing just for "practice" and to show the lineup fix)
Once I got the updated pitch base from Razr...I had to redo everything I had already done in the A.L. Only set(totally different roster .....he was working on the pitch edits for the "real" Full Minor set, while I was fiddling around with that A.L. only set waiting for it from him....there is one point of confusion, I'm sure)


I am on target for release sometime shortly after Opening Day.
I have to see how much time Strut needs for the stance/motion update....as I would like to get it out with everything intact already.
I also need a few updates from Razr I believe....

I've got a set right now with
-All teams with the correct 40 man rosters(all edits-faces done for those players)
-nearly 100 of the top prospects
-Razrs update for the pitchers
-the lineup fix
-and already some fill in players for the AA teams

Once teams start setting their ACTIVE rosters....I should be able to set the AAA pretty quickly and then fill in AA.

Hopefully there won't be too many teams outright releasing players(but rather putting them in AAA) .....so I don't have to use too many fake players(when I run out of editable guys)

Knight, sounds like your rosters are amazing. Since I only have this game for the PSP I'm relying on making my own edits. Playing with the Giants, the only prospects I really want to add are Buster Posey, Madison Bumgarner, Jesus Guzman, and maybe Tim Alderson.

I searched this thread and looked but I didn't see anything posting any CAPs for these guys. I'm not sure if you do this, but would you be willing to post the stats you used for their CAPs so I can create them in my PSP version.

If not thats cool. I know this roster has to be keeping you very busy so I understand.

I am passing this directly to you as I understand that you have already received the pitch edits. According to the Detroit Free Press in regard to Eddie Bonine:

Bonine’s repertoire is uncommon, for the simple reason that it includes a knuckleball. His knuckler has a pretty strong velocity – as knucklers go – with some movement. It also says as a reliever he only throws the Fastball more often than the Knuckelball.

I am passing this along as I noted in the Full Minors roster for 2008 the knuckelball is not included in his arsenal of pitches.

Heh it's now gotten to the point that saying it's been asked and answered too many times is being complained about.

Not saying anything other than we are all eagerly anticipating Knights (and team) full minors roster. No presure Knight, no presure. :wink:

I agree, Bixler has been a stud this spring bringing back his prospect status, so they will most likely want him in AAA to play, not be a bench guy with the Bucs.

Hey did you see Wilson initiated talks with the Pirates for a contract extention? Bixler could be blocked for a little bit longer or move to 2nd base.

Yeah his batting has improved greatly compared to last year, defensivly he started out slow in ST but picked it up.

This morning the Pirates sent Bixler and Andrew McCutchen to Minor league camp (to start in AAA). For McCutchen the move is likely to insure his arbitration clock doesn't start this year (I expect him to be called up later this year, assuming his bunting and baserunning ability improves some).

Yeah I did see that, Wilson wants to stick around (and Sanchez too). Should be a good test for the Pirates ownership to see if they are really commited to winning or not. Since Neal Huntington has taken over I've seen more life in the Pirates than the last 10 years combined.

BINGO! I'm right there with you. I get sick of the "use the search function, search over on page 36 of this 120-page thread" to find your answer. A simple answer would have been nicer than a snide comment.

Here is a question that I havent seen asked I think(and I've read most of the 80 pages). When is MLB opening day? Yeah I know it's blasphemy that I don't know. I know when Pirates opening day is, April 6th in St. Louis but what about the first MLB game to open the season? Is it the 3rd, 4th or 5th?

Yeah first regular season game is Sunday night, but if your interested in seeing the first broadcast ever from new Yankee Stadium, the Cubs and Yanks will be on MLB network on Friday night.
