I believe his fix is for other teams so that when u check out boxscores for games you arent playing you don't see Albert Pujols leading off and Manny Ramirez hitting 8th. Don't wanna speak for Knight but I think he is releasing both with and without these edits but it sounds like you'll want them if you like accuracy

I am sure Knight has worked out a fine compromise between the two. I am working on a system that tries to find the underlying algorithm of how SECA used real-life stats to determine ratings and we are making some real progress. It is true that you can get similar stats from a pretty wide range of ratings, but at the same time I do not want to see Soraino with power in the 70's.

If you want to get technical most sabermetric studies have shown that lineup does not have a great affect on how many runs a team scores. However, I believe changing the underlying rankings that the game was designed for MAY have more of an affect on accuracy. Regardless, there will always have to be some tweaking so everyone gets their rosters they way they want them. The problem is the glitch itself not any of the great work any of the three teams working on rosters this year have done. Knight could have not made a better decision than to have worked on two sets as there are two very good arguments to be made for each and they both depend on the preference of the end-user. Hopefully, the new patch will fix everything for us!

I just give my minor league guys either a stance I know is close(rare) or something other than gen 1.

Someone should start a thread for Minor League stances, deliveries, equipment, lineups and rotations.

I have just decided to sign up for an account today I've been following this thread for a little wile now and just wanted to thank Knight and all the people involved in making this roster you guys are all doing an amazing job.

I just have one question though. Could someone please post a link to Knights roster files(current and final product when complete) on sendspace because my internet is so terrible right now it wont even let me sign into sportsconnect in MLB.

I have been waiting to start my chise with the Jays, and with the season underway now Im getting more and more excited to play some MLB 09: The Show.

I THINK they do. I'm an RTTS guy, so as long as MY career stats are good, then I'm not worried about it either way. I believe Knight started off the glitched roster from scea...but i could be wrong.

Does Knight's roster's include player rating edits for 40 man roster players....the SCEA default ratings are not accurate for most of the players based on there projected stats this year according to various publications.

Hey Knight, will you also be posting a version without rating changes for the fixed lineups? I know you mentioned it earlier in the thread but I was hoping this would be released now also for those who like to do Fantasy Drafts.

No Roster Vault until they are complete.
