On that note guys.....

Can someone double check and make sure that I did indeed have and do have the correct Opening Day MLB rosters set.
I may have missed a couple as I was at work on opening day and not doing my normal routine. That...and I last year had a list of the opening day rosters for each team and their lineups...this year...I didn't have that.

So let's say I have A-Rod in the MLB....could you tell me that and the player who should replace him...So it would be A-Rod/Ransom. That's all I need. Thanks.

The Giants actually had the opening day roster wrong in v4... Joe Martinez was on the opening day roster IRL, but in game you had him in AAA with Justin Miller at MLB. I figured you did it because Martinez got injured so early in the season (game 3 I believe) but if not, you might want to switch them. I'll PM you with this info as well.

Hi Knight , im basically using your first full AL/NL lineup fix , the one jim416 brought up to date with your blessing .
I play pretty much like Jim real to date rosters / dont care about minors other then players being there .
Will players be missing from that set as I know you still had work on nl west ?

FYI : I used total ROSTER control with those and the lineup glitch held pretty good overall , nothing goofy :wink: nice job !

Yeah.

Question: With CPU Roster Control ON, can you call up players and send down players on the CPU controlled teams? I guess you can't. Anyone know for sure?

Only the final version is going in the roster vault. I believe the reasoning was so there aren't a dozen versions of this roster floating around on the vault.

Actually, I think the reason of doing so is because Knight does not want people to nitpick at his rosters even though he has not finished yet.

Both actually...

Yes...with CPU ROSTER CONTROL ON..you can indeed make all the moves for every team.
The only thing that isn't working is the lineups sticking...they are getting shuffled.....like they would when a player is resting. My guess is...that's what messed it up in the first place...The CPU is automatically fixing things....when it's only "supposed" to do it when a player is injured(and therefore a new player is being put in) or when a player is being rested.

Last release on page 229 covered the Brewers, but I'm not sure on the rest of the teams you stated.

Wow, I appreciate all the work you put into these, especially considering how long it must take. I just downloaded the latest to check out the Brewers rosters. Just a few quick observations if you are planning on editing things later.

Chris Capuano is ranked pretty high, but he hasn't played in couple years and he was terrible for 2 years leading up to his injury, he should probably have his attributes taken down a lot.

Dave Bush is rated higher than Gallardo, for some reason Gallardo was edited to be made worse from the SCEA rosters, not sure why but he's by far the best pitcher on the staff.

Also I love all the prospects in the game but I have to question the potential ratings a bit. I know you are working with a limited number of A and B potential players but I noticed that Mat Gamel has a C rating. He comes in ranked 34 in BA Top 100, while Josh Vitters was given an A rating and he is #51 according to BA. Also, Alcides Escobar is widely considered the best SS prospect in baseball, but he was given a B rating.

Either way, thanks for all the work, I don't have a problem just editing these guys myself, just wanted to point those things out in case you make changes.

I should also add that Brett Lawrie has moved to 2nd base from catcher.

I would agree on both Gamel and Escobar.

Gamel is off to a really good start in the minors this season, and I think should be a B potential. Escobar would be borderline A/B but may be the highest SS prospect in all of baseball.

Capuano had one really good year before being injuried but has yet to prove he has recovered from his injury so down grading him is justified.

Gallardo is the best pitcher on the staff, and should be rated so in my opinion.

Been using your rosters for three years now. Couldn't imagine this game without your rosters. Thank you and everyone thats lent a hand in this years rosters.

I was wondering if you ever heard from anyone at SCEA about the stat glich and the rosters. Sorry if this was answered already but this thread is huge.
