Hi Knight,

I normally just play a season. I suppose I can just play on franchise and then just restart it each year or is there some major differences that i need to be aware of (e.g. do I have to worry about promotions and all that stuff)?

Just put those players you want like Weiters on the 40 man roster, or sign them in your season.

I asked this question earlier but you never gave an answer. You said you were going to release a list of CAPS I guess for the draft. Do you still plan to release this tonight?

I did....but it's going to have to wait...
I have a "slight" flooding emergency at my house down in Queens(I pretty much live upstate now)...so I have a nice 2 hour ride to go and clean up before I go to work tomorrow.
Sorry boys...I'm headed out now.
I'll get to you guys sometime tomorrow morning when I get to the firehouse.

something weird happened when i downloaded knights roster...after downloading them and adding some walkup music players' positions changed...e.g. melvin mora playing cf and adam jones playing 3b, joe mauer playing rf and brian buscher playing c..corky miller was even in the tigers AA bullpen..and other weird position flips...i downloaded them again and saved and the it was fine...im just confused as to why this happened...just wondering if anyone else had this happened to them or if its just me?

If the first game of my franchise is any indication, these rosters are friggin awesome. My Blue Jays just beat the Tigers 3-0 in extra innings on a 3-run bomb by Snider. Halladay struck out 9 batters.

Hey Knight, did you edit player's secondary position? I downloaded Ridins rosters and finished the NL West last night. Hell, this was tedious so I could only imagine what you went through. Anyways, I won't be able to download yours until Wednesday so let me know so I can stop doing them..lol..I just don't want Ausmus playing short, Manny playing center, etc.

For whatever reason, Ausmus has SS as his secondary position, even though none is listed. Go in, edit him to no secondary position (again) and problem should be solved.

Look at a players baseball card and you will see all secondary positions he can play, regardless of what is listed on the player edit screen

If you change the secondary position in the player edit screen you will lose an multiple secondary positions that that player is assigned on the baseball card, so beware. One you might want to change for sure though is Carlos Delgado, who has a secondary position of "C".

I know that, but he certainly wouldn't play it anymore. Taking the secondary position away from him offers this. If you want to see him at catcher, don't change it.

Yea, I agree with Delgado. These are the guys I edited cause I doubt they 'll play in any other position for the rest of their career.

Knight, thanks for the rosters, they are very detailed and add so much to the game.


One question. I've become much worse at pitching since using these rosters. Halladay gave up 7 runs for me in the first game and 8 in the next. I seem to have less control over the pitchers. Was this done intentionally? If I'm struggling should I just increase the pitcher control slider?

Is there another jorge sosa in the nationals system or is the one in these versions wrong? hes listed as a CP and 18 years old....but if its the one that played for atl and nym previously hes definately not 18

Just to let everyone know, I don't know if the rosters are going faster than last year but Knights FINAL FINISHED VERSION wasn't completed until the middle of May last year.

Just giving people a heads up for all those waiting for the FINAL FINISHED PROUCT to start their franchises with like me.

In the meantime people should be figuring out which sliders they will use and what gives them the most realistic results so they can have great competative, fun and realistic seasons playing this game. ( By the way a patch is coming soon so those sliders you might be set on might a have to be tweaked again)

And which one is Knights final finished version?

What exactly is the difference between that one and the one he released the other night?? Also, with Strut/Razrs edits...when will that one be released???
