Knight, you're releasing a v1.2 as the roster you did on Sunday with the ratings the way they are + tweaking the minors lineups right? (preferred)

or are you releasing a file with the stock ratings and the minors lineups set; a v2.0?

First...thanks guys...and I'm not trying to be humble(I'll take all the credit and glory I can get! )....but I just didn't feel right this year having the rosters tagged with just my screen name. Just WAY TOO MANY people involved in this process now. Yeah...maybe I'm the "workhorse" and I did put the throttle down this year to get them out in a much more timely fashion than last year, but a lot of that goes to the people who helped me put the pre-(game) release info together and I was able to somewhat start sifting and sorting out what the rosters might look like. I think we were nearly a full month ahead of last year!

The set for later will be the same one(basically) as Sunday except I'm trying to get in a couple of more requested players/prospects and full time playing AAA guys
As far as the lineups...they are not being fixed with edits...I'm merely 1. placing the players in the correct level(AAA or AA..a lot of these were off as I was rushing v1 out the door) and 2. The lineups set in the lineups screen to be correct(or as close as I can with what players I have) This might matter more for post-patch play as the CPU(HOPEFULLY! ) will now use the lineups from those screens first.

I feel bad as I may have overreacted a bit.

You had a right to be...even Millenium said in that same thread if he didn't have permission he would be celled. Anyways, you truly are the example for posters and an ambassador for OS (along w/Jim ). Kudos, Mr. Knight!

Oh so the set coming out later is still with the lineup edits if I'm understanding correctly. I kinda thought it was going to be the stock set... Oh well. Do you have an eta on that one? Just curious

Okay...

I'm home from work(one of the truly few "bad" days at work....I'm quoting bad because as long as everyone gets to GO home.....it's not really a bad day, right?)...but I didn't get what I wanted done there. Just too hectic.
A short nap....I'll finish fixing the players to their proper levels....and the correct lineups...and I'll get the "final" version out tonight.


Question(really for you Millenium).....for the stock SCEA ratings, do you guys want the default numbers or the latest updated numbers?

I am waiting on the non-lineup glitch fix rosters too. Personally, I wouldn't mind waiting for your attribute edits, but that depends on how long I would have to wait, lol. I'm itching to start a real franchise. Any idea when these might be coming?

I would like the latest updated SCEA numbers too. Also, I don't expect you to do this, but now personally, I think I would like stock SCEA pitches (no Razr edits (no offense to Razr, just want more 4 seamers back in the rosters, he did a great job with a lot of the other pitches)) with that too. Do you think you may do this since some people here, including myself are interested?

I totally understand if you aren't going to do that at some point, so if you're not just let me know, and I'll have to get to work on it after you release your non-lineup glitch fixed (stock SCEA) rosters.

I am also waiting on Knights Stock Attributes Set (and the Patch) and have already started writing down the stock pitches so I can go through my list and change them back. Knight if you don't have time or if you just don't want to do this I understand. But it sounds like you will have some help if you need it. I wrote down all your non-CAP pitcher's pitches that are on the 40 man rosters (did 7 teams earlier) so I don't think it will take me a whole lot of time to do. Looking forward to my franchise, Thanks!

That's great news.

This is just my opinion. There needs to be more guys with 4 seamers from what I have seen. I realize in real life they have movement, but I just didn't like the fact that there are guys that throw 4 seamers and they are not there now (Big Z for instance has a 4 seamer with movement and a 2 seamer). Even 4 seamers with movement are not 2 seamers, running fastballs, etc. I do understand the game does not integrate movement into 4 seamers well. I also understand at times pitchers had to be cut from a repertoire due to only being able to have 5 pitches.

But, most guys that have 4 seamers as well as 2 seamers, cutters, whatever, throw 4 seamers for their high pitches, and when they are getting behind and need a strike (granted in real life guys like Zambrano have a lot of movement on their 4 seamers, but they still grip and throw them like 4 seamers).

Now this is just me, and may be a big reason why I want stock pitches back, but after playing a few games, it was considerably harder for me to hit with too many moving fastballs. I am at the age now where I just play the game for enjoyment since I just don't have enough time to play enough to get really good like I used to. I am still at the All Star level with pbz's sliders. I would not win enough on anything higher than that this year without more gaming time.

By the way, I loved what Razr did with the other pitches in a pitchers repertoire, and it probably is more realistic the way he has it in some ways and I understand what he was trying to accomplish, I just want more 4 seamers back .

Good work Knight. Great Looking Rosters and Plays well like last year. Im using Psychos Sliders and your Rosters on All-Star. I was waiting it out, due to the fact Im a Cardinals Fan. it was a little odd at first when i pitched with carpenter and his 4-seamer was a sinker, but got used to it. Im walking at least 1 guy per game if not 3 or 4. Just lose command at times and miss the meter.

1st game. Cards vs Pirates. Wainwright vs Malholm

Bottom of 1st. Ludwick hits a 3 run homer off a 2-0 fastball up in zone. Good at bat, good results. Cards 3-0

Started losing command with Wainwright and gave up a couple runs. Im up 3-2 and give up a lead off walk, then a single and then a 3-run Hr to DOUMIT. down 5-3. bottom 8th, They hit Rasmus on first pitch. Steal second. Pujols singles him home 5-4. Ludwick gets a hit, ankiel doubles down line. Cards up 6-5. Next two guys single, Duncan 3-run HR, up 9-5, win 10-6. Good game, unexpected turn of events there in the 8th.

I lost the second game after Lohse lost command and gave up 3 in the 7th. Shoulda got him outta there. Lost 4-1 in a very good game.

Wellemeyer won me game 3 of set. Only odd thing is, i didnt know wellemeyer could throw 97mph. or that his change is at 89. Is that something i should adjust?

KNIGHT, quick question:In your opinion, did the things you changed to fix the CPU lineup glitch, will that have a drastic effect on players stats and the way they play? Or is is pretty subtle?I want to start a franchise with your rosters, with the lineup fix you made, but dont want super unrealistic things happening. Just wanted to know what you thought.Thanks so much, you make this game IMO. Without you it would not be nearly as awesome!!!

I'm a bit confused, however. The latest roster update that is coming out is NOT the one with SCEA ratings, correct? Just the same version as Sunday with a few player additions.

If so, when is the roster update with the SCEA rating due out??
