It's not just a question of dropping them.
I need guys that I can CHANGE into the players you want....that means lining up potential ratings.
If those are still the guys...I'll have it tomorrow sometime.

    Thanks.

      Just that info.
Scouting them out right now is a little much

By the way...I already have the set changed back to "stock SCEA" for the A.L. East...so it shouldn't take too long.(just position players first)
I'll see how far I get tomorrow and keep you guys posted.

Been doing it for years. I spend more time editing than i do playing, but that is changing thanks to you actually. Even with the SCEA updates, I would edit then another one came along a week later. Always am "anal"when it comes to the sports games rosters. I started out this stuff with All American Baseball ( the round player disks with the spinner), APBA, Strat-o-matic, then came the video game age.

I actually put it on the vault with title of HEAosVol0 I think. Please tell me if you see it. I believe I may have forgotten to say in the description the rosters are updated to today, Apr 22nd, not opening day. Can I edit that?

Have you ever used the baseballamerica.com website, rosters are updated daily and they have all the rosters from all the teams organization, pretty nice.

Just an FYI, I see you added Fossum on Vol 2 but also noticed Eduardo Morlan is still on both Milw and TB.

          Keep up the good work!!!

I know this question gets aks alot but has there been any progress with the lineup glitch yet or did knight do his own lineups based on the current major league teams everyday lineups

Knight, I love your rosters, but as a Rangers fan I am wondering about a few omissions. No Blake Beaven or Kasey Kiker, both first round draft picks? And no Pedro Strop? I know that these guys aren't on our top 10 prospects list, but they will almost certainly have a place in Arlington in a few years. Am I just out of luck on those guys?

Trojan...it's tough to get everyone in.
Strut is doing the stances/equipment update now...if you guys want players in....PM me who you want and the player you want to replace.
I'll get them in on that update.
You gotta send me both....it'll make it much easier for me.

I fear that I may get blasted for asking as I'm sure someone has brought this up.
I searched but to no avail.

I have already started my franchise using Knights rosters (of course) using CPU Lineup Control OFF so as to activate the injuries.

I am now worried that I will never be able to get players who were injured in real life and thus placed on AA teams to move back up to ML.

Is there a way for me to do this or do I have to have CPU Control ON -- in which case I'm screwed.

I really hate to see A-Rod and Tejada and others playing AA all year.
                    Congratulations BUTLER BULL DOGS!

Knight had answered this question for me about a week ago. Put their replacement's durability to zero. When they get injured the player gets called up. I did this with Aroid, put Ransoms durability to zero and it worked. Hope that helped!!

I am not a frequent poster but I have to say that I love these rosters and much thanks to Knight and co. for these.

One thing I did notice...everytime I do a franchise or RTTS, A-Rod retires after the first year due to "poor free agent market". To rectify this, I just put him on the majors before starting and that solved it (I know its not realistic but I would rather have that then to see him retire at age 34 as the best player in the game)

On that note, and its not with just these rosters but does anyone else notice that players all seem to retire by age 36 on this game? With the exception of players that are 36 or older when 2009 starts then they still retire regardless.

No blasting in my threads for legitimate questions!

As coachpars said....especially with the Yanks....getting a player injured will usually do it(if it's a top rated player..like A-Rod..usually any injured player on the MLB squad will get that call up...but if it's a lesser player....it may take an injury to that particular position in the MLB)
I just note Ransoms durability...drop it and then when he gets put on the DL....put it back)
(note:...this doesn't always get the guy injured )

I actually think this is one of the few things that SCEA does poorly. DL managment.
First...I think we should be able to "injure" a player at any point....pre-franchise(giving him a pre-existing injury) and any time during franchise(be able to go into the editor...give him a pulled hammy and choose the length of the injury).
At the very least...if SCEA actually gave these guys there pre season injuries and then put them on the DL on the rosters ...then the CPU would automatically make the move when he is healed and wouldn't sit in AAA forever as it stands now.

                            Hope this helps!

Ahhh...thanks. I forgot that I can still edit player attributes while in CPU OFF mode.

If I change MLB player X's durability to 0, then notice that Arod (or Tejada or whoever) then takes the MLB spot moving Player X to AAA or AA (post injury), can I then change Player's X durability back to normal and expect him to stay at his current minor league level?

That seems to be the case. Knight would know better then me, but it has worked in my franchise. Rosters are awesome right?
