Forgive me if it has been answered, but if you had to wage a guess at this juncture, but what is your current ETA on v5?

I'm itching to get started...I really can't take much more!!!

I can give you a better idea when I hear back from Razr(he's busy doing the stock PP version(updating v3)).....
But when I get it from him...I need one day.
I'm hoping for Sunday.

Knight, I was wondering, will you be including any newly added players in your upcoming releases? A couple of players I'm wondering about are Josh Fields (Mariners) and Darwin Barney (Cubs). I searched this thread and there's nothing on Josh Fields and only a couple of questions about Darwin Barney.

The Cubs have a ton of SS....and I put Castro in...

Knight, I was wondering if you could edit Adam Rosales of the Cincinnati Reds so that he doesn't have D potential. I know SCEA has him that way in the default rosters, so you may not be able to do anything about it for now. I think he should have more of a C or even B potential.

agreed knight about rosales...he was tearing it up at AAA (over .400 batting avg) and had 2 rbi in his first start this year @ 3B. C potential would suffice...hope maybe you could include this edit when you make the Homer Bailey edit :-) bro you are the greatest..

I don't think you can edit potential....but I may be wrong. At least I haven't figured out how to do it.

yes, you cannot do this...however, you can do what knight did with SCEA's version of Travis Snider (lower the attributes to zero, release him, and create a new Snider by editing one of the fake players included in the game) - which is exactly what Rosales & Homer Bailey need.

Dexter Fowler of the Rockies as well......He has a C potential, I believe Baseball America has him rated in the top 20 of their list of 100 top prospects......Not sure if knight is looking to redo him as well. If he did that would be fantastic....

Sorry...kind of missed you the first time

I guess it kind of depends on how you are/like to play.

I would go with v2.
It has the lineup fixes(so the CPU will have you playing against lineups as they were opening day..or as close as I could get them)...
It has all real minor leaguers and is set for Opening Day play.
If you want to mimic the MLB transactions in your franchise/season play, you need to have CPU ROSTER CONTROL ON.....otherwise the CPU will trade...offer you trades...players will get injured etc. With it ON.....you will decide(and have to move) players around in order to get what you want.(I prefer it off and just let the CPU make moves(for other teams...of course you get to make your own) and let the franchise go as it may.

I know this is probably a stupid question but after reading through the post patch threads my eyes hurt. If I have to restart my franchise I might as well go with the best roster set out there. Ive decided to use Knights rosters but wanted to know if his set plays best with default sliders or do they play best with one of the other slider sets out there.

I use Perfect sliders Set along with Knights rosters...great game results. All i did was raise the pitch speed up one knotch thats it.

You can edit the facial characteristics of fake players, but not for SCEA players like Bailey and Rosales. If someone could give me a template for the facial characteristics of those 2 players, It would be much appreciated. That is, if Knight can't do it in one of the next couple of versions.

I set my rosters with default sliders, so that the most people have the most room for adjustments
