Well, whenever this thing is done, I'll even take a stab at some roster moves.

Curtis is a great guy on and off the field. He'll be great in NY. His only weakness is hitting lefties. Hopefully he can still improve upon that but you guys will love him. Still can't believe we traded him. It really sucks.

That would be awesome, I'd love this...I think it would help tide me over until MLB 10 The Show by being able to play with the new players on their new teams and such.

If not, can someone point me in the right direction so I could use these rosters?

Each roster file is independent of another one. Just go online with your game and head to the roster section. Knight's rosters have about 2000 downloads and should be near the top. Grab version 2, download and you are all set to go! (You might have to load them first when going back to offline, not sure).

Honestly I wouldn't even worry about anything but power and contact numbers.

What database and formula's are you using?

I don't have my PS3 online yet, so for the moment I'm gonna try saving the roster on a flash drive.

If I read it correctly, I have to save it to a folder named PS3 and then have another folder named SAVEDATA is that correct?

whoa whoa whoa whoa WHOA WHOA WHOA.....
hold up people i am confused on what happened here, we just had like 10 random people throw their two cents in and I am a little confused...

Ja & PimpinP thank you so much for offering your time to do this with the rosters...Discipline does need to be touched, regardless who said it doesn't...it makes an impact in stats and yyhy was on track to do this before he was abducted by aliens last wednesday.

I am not for doing transactions as they are happening by the day, and 40-man rosters are set to the final day of the regular season by Knight already and it would take too much messing around esp. considering he did a lot of work to make sure a lot of top prospects where protected so the rule 5 draft didn't come out wacky...if somebody wants to release a later version with all the transactions be my guest but I'd like the version being released with the durability edits to not have any transactions.

who is taking the NL and AL on these attribute changes? I hope we are still only touching contact & power R & L, and discipline...

when I get a hold of this set after you guys do this I will do a little work on clutch myself as I think i have found a good way to do make the changes quickly.

I just got my first playstion. I ordered MLB the show and will have it next week. This will be my first time playing the SHOW and i know its going to be hard!! So what is this? I assume Knight updates rosters? How would i be able to download them? I love updates rosters.. Also any other advice on the game in gernal would be great!!

Im currently at work, when I get in tonight i hope to get at least through the Jays and maybe start the Rays. Friday night is out (Work x-mas party), there is a chance Sat I can get a team or 2 in, now Sunday I just found out my wife has a friends b'day party and she and the baby are gonna go so Ill have 3 straight hours to work on teams then which i did not expect and hopefully plow through the central at that point. I should have at least the AL wrapped up by the middle of next week. I have not applied them in game yet and yes I was doing all attributes that Bahnzos database covered but if you only want contact, power, and discipline done GREAT! Less work for me LMAOOOO. TD or Pimpin, Do you have MS Works? I can send you the spreadsheet when I finish with the edited attributes or would you rather me plug them into the game and get the roster over to someone with the AL completed to do the NL? Or would you like me to do both which Ill admit will take some time with my schedule and home commitments (2 maybe 3 weeks schedule depending).

Ja...where do i pay you? haha...what other attributes does the rostertool program cover? i was under the impression that yyhy was only covering power/contact/disclipline which is why i said that but if there is more let me know what those are if you could man...thanks a bunch dude

Yes...the link inside updates the rosters WITH real minor leaguers(Sony's does not have them) to the last day of the season.

You can
1. Go to SPORTSCONNECT(from within the game) to the ROSTER VAULT and download them directly to your PS3
or
2. Using a flash drive....download the link transfer them to the flash drive...unzip them and then transfer them to your PS3 in the SAVED DATA UTILITY section.

Yes...Sony has a space reserved for all kinds of roster made by users.
I concentrate on ones that have all real minor leaguers for every team......concentrating on top prospects first then filling in as the potential ratings allow.

I also work on historical rosters that are also in the vault...so if you like teams from throughout history....from the 40's....through the '90's(and even 2000 and 2001)....you can grab my Classic sets.
