Also, I can't find Mitch Jones and Troy Glaus. Can anyone help me out? I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
Mitch Jones is on the Dodgers, Glaus still on the Cardinals. The Braves also picked up Scott Thorman and he's on the Royals.

troy glaus is still in stl dude, not sure about that other guy...look around the teams couldn't be any closer to accurate than it was during the postseason
If I do the pitchers it will only be '09 not a 3 year average. Pitching is extremely unpredictable from year to year (unless you're one of the elite). My opinion is a yearly evaluation with WHIP being the most important category as that pretty much gives you a clearer evaluation of pure control and stuff. I was gonna give it a whirl last night but for some reason the database kept on erroring out when trying to pull up 09 numbers so I dont know what happened there.

*whew* that took a little bit longer than I expected...

however, it is all done and ready to go to you fellas enjoyment, maybe? depends if you are a Reds fan or like to use them in franchise mode really...I'm done with updates however, this one being my last...I was going to fix Brandon Wood but there is literally nobody available on the fa list or that I could find on any team to sub him out with...

all of what i've done with ja's file he's posted just so you know...

added durability edits, fixed the fake player on the reds to michael griffin, took Homer Bailey and swapped him out for for the fake player Zach Sizemore on the fa list, fixed Homer's pitches to be correct (cut fastball, 12-6, circle-change) he's close to a 2 pitch pitcher but he uses an off-speed pitch that he calls a split-finger but acts more like a change-up..., then I fixed Chris Heisey by swapping him and Luis Bolivar on the Reds...Heisey took Bolivar's C potential...he should be a B but this is as close as I could get...

along with this I also fixed Travis Wood (he should be a B potential...one of Cincy's top pitchers in the minors last year) by swapping him and Kip Wells...actually got well's 1.9 mil contract to be reset too by cutting him resigning him with weaker attributes...only thing that sucks is you keep his 8 years experience but its no biggy...

let me know what you think guys, I'm done messing with the set just wanted to get the Reds roster all fixed...Ja could you use this last update when you fix the pitchers?

Ja...there is one player I see that might need some cranking down

                Garrett Jones...

                88 34 66 64 seems a little bit high...

he didn't even play a full-season in 09 and his career splits in the minors are .267 against righties and .255 against lefties...he's also never went above a .484 slugging in over 3+ years in AAA
Bill James projections for him in 2010 are around .271/.330/.479 with 25 homers and 35 doubles

there is no chance of me being able to get that program working anytime soon but with my personal grasp of scea's attributes i came up with these...

                  68
                  44
                  66
                  54
                  0
                  7
                  44
                  66

                  left clutch the same

Sox, It is very difficult to do this including all the minors moves withoutr a ton of work not to mention time which I cant spare that much to do. All the 40 man rosters will be messed up when attempting to move the players around so to play a franchise with them, after the first season it will turn into a mess as players who should be on the 40 man roster wont be and will get exposed to rule 5 draft amonst other problems. I know there is a roster thread where a few guys were trying to make the moves but they have stated in their thread it is basically for single season use and not for franchise. Im almost positive that that set is a MLB SCEA rated set as well and not re-rates. If someone does want to tackle this than more power to you.

TD, I only went with Garrett Jones 09 ratings and toned him down a bit. I remember reading an article about him as the season was winding down on ESPN.com. They talked about him being for real that he is a clasic late bloomer and that much drop off cant be expected. Dont remember if it was Gammons or Stark who wrote this. I personally dont think hes a .300 hitter but the power and speed is legit as he was putting up nice numbers in AAA before his. Any Pirate fans out there that dont want to be homers (LOL) wanna input on him. KSig or Knight (if youre following)?

To be honest, outside of his numbers at the minor and the majors this year, I don't know enough about him to say that is too high off the bat. I've seen guys put it together as they got older especially when it comes to pitch selection and his OBP was pretty good this past year at both levels combined. I see him as .270 - .280 with 25 - 30 home run power if his eye remains but I haven't seen much of him physically to say I 100 percent believe that. You could tell alot more about a guy when you physically watch him play especially a guy who just might be a flash in the pan. I'll sim a few and see where he averages out. I'm gonna stick with the 34, I'll see about the 88 cause that low a number may balance it out more than you think. The power though may be legit. That's why Im asking for anyone that follows the Buccos or him for any input on accurately gauging this guy.

Pirate fan here with some imput on Garrett Jones.

If Jones wasnt blocked while playing in Minnesota you might already know who he is. He never got a chance there becasue he was blocked by a guy named Justin Morneau. I have seen Jones play live and he is a beast. I remember seeing him at spring training last year and watching him take BP he was hitting MONSTER shots, I said hey I gotta meet this guy, so I went up to him got a picture and chatted a bit, nice guy, anyway I am getting side tracked sorry...

Jones hit 10 home runs in his first 21 games! That led the NL for the month, the last Pirate to do that was Willie Stargell in 1971. Jones was on fire when he first came up hitting for good average and power, he dipped a little bit as pitchers adjusted to him, but then he adjusted to the pitchers and put together a solid 3 months of baseball. He finished the year with 21 homers and a HR average of 6.68 percent, Albert Pujols's rookie year, he had a 6.27 percent HR average. If Jones played the whole year I believe he would have won NL Rookie of the Year. I think he is for real and will have a nice 2010 season (.288 with 32 HRs and 90 RBI with a few stolen bases in there too) Call me a homer but I think he is legit. In short I think maybe your contact attributes could be a bit too high vs righties, and low against lefties, but power looks good. I would recommend 71, 48, 66, 63.

those power numbers are higher than Adam Dunn & Alex Rodriguez...

I am going to stick him with 73 44 63 53...his numbers are going to be inconsistent as most every left slugger year to year vs. lefties...its the closest I've found to sim to Bill James projections...

Again those numbers are his 09 database numbers toned down slightly (he was higher). I agree in that he should not hit 40 in a given year so 63 - 53 might just do it and give the desired high 20's low 30's. Im gonna run a sim tonight with those numbers a couple of times and see where that puts him but I do agree with the previos poster and Bucco long sufferer hes for real. By the way Im planning on hitting Pittsburgh this season as part of my annual baseball "tour" (first for the little boy ), heard its beautiful can't wait.

Finally been playing a few with these ratings. My concerns about power were a bit abated (for now) when on the first pitch from Carlos Zambrano, David DeJesus turned on an inside fastball in his happy zone and deposited it right over the right field wall. He is in the low 20s for power. This was also using Psychos last version of his slider set ("Perfect Sliders") with no modifications on my part. I also homered with Jason Werth and Tori Hunter homered against me (James Shields) in the same game (fantasy drafted roster). My next game Joe Saunders served up a bomb to Chris Coughlan on a missed changeup that drifted out over the plate as well as a triple (very real) to Hunter and 3 doubles. Got slammed 8 - 2.
