I can't vouch for every one of those players, but most of them are top prospects and will be included.
Man, this really got me to thinking. There are too many top prospect lists out there that are made by people who have no idea what they're talking about. With that being said, this causes a lot of wondering about who will and will not be included.
Guys like Dennis Raben, Greg Halman, Joe Dunigan, Kyle Seager, Rick Poythress and Ricky Orta cause me to wonder because there's such a huge difference in their rankings. Since this is a video game and there are set attributes, players with tools like that shouldn't even be a question, but they are for various reasons. Some players can't translate their natural tools to the field (Greg Halman is the perfect example). Some players do not have plus tools or even "flashy" tools, but they might have a lot of average tools that would make them quality and, in some cases, very good Major League players and that causes them to be ignored by most people, including prospect publications. Injuries and ignorance (a lack of knowledge) also factors into many of the top prospect lists. Thankfully, K really sounds like he knows his stuff and he's still asking for suggestions/opinions.
Go back and look at early scouting reports and even older organizational top prospect lists to see where some of the top players in the MLB like Albert Pujols, Hanley Ramirez, Grady Sizemore, Ryan Braun and Evan Longoria were once ranked and rated. These are players that only a few people thought would develop into future Hall of Fame types of players. Most of the top prospect lists were never that high on them. (Pujols was never really on anyone's "radar". Longoria went from being on no one's "radar" to being on everyone's "radar" before he was drafted.)
My point is that selecting the players to include and assigning them ratings (minus players with obvious talents like Josh Hamilton, Matt Wieters, Jason Heyward, Felix Hernandez, etc.) is a difficult and confusing process, even if you know a player in great detail and you know what you're doing and talking about, because of the difference in opinions about the majority of them and because of the uncertainty in your own mind about what you think and know about players.
