go through and look at the original operations sports version 1 roster, and then look at this set. almost every team has the correct players batting in the same lineup spot as their roster. way more accurate than the first set. i did not touch a few teams such as the royals, bluejays, and a handful of others, but realistically, regardless of their lineup, they are horrible teams. i know that team of gamers worked very hard on the set, and without them, the game would not be the same. i spent about 2 hours today looking at knights opening day roster, and assuring that my set would be as close to spot on as possible. it is much better than the first set i posted. just check it out when you have time. you'll like it. i'm done doing anymore updates. but to all the people that complain, you should check this out

Re: HUGE PROBLEM WITH LINEUPS AFTER SPRING TRAINING!!!
Just tried Gators & they are good though they still move the lineups around but not as bad as the other rosters. I mainly play as the Dodgers & there is some shifting going on but it makes sense why the CPU would do some of the moves."In a year that has been so improbable, the impossible has happened." - Vin Scully

Re: HUGE PROBLEM WITH LINEUPS AFTER SPRING TRAINING!!!
yeah it is impossible to get everything 100% dead on, but as mentioned, these work much better than most everything that is out there in regards to the issue. in regards to the dodgers, no matter what i do with the ratings, the cpu still places martin and blake near the bottom of the order, kemp leadoff, etc. i refuse to alter any ratings by anything more than a few points. the good thing is that if you play with the dodgers, you can manually fix their roster to your liking, and every other teams will be something very close to a real life lineup. you won't see david wright, evan longoria, matt holliday, derrick lee, or any other power hitter batting second, jason heyward batting leadoff, marcus thames batting clean up for the yankees, etc. this roster set is the best substitute in regards to this issue though. until a patch is released, if you want to play franchise mode, i think this set is the way to go.Comment

Re: HUGE PROBLEM WITH LINEUPS AFTER SPRING TRAINING!!!
This time around can we put the guys who started the season on the DL instead of the minors? (still keeping them on 40 man, but not 25 man.)
ie. Ted Lilly should be on the 15 day DL to start the season, still on the 40 man, but not the 25.
In essence, the franchise file would have injuries as manual up until the start of the season. Then thereafter people would have the option to go manual or ON.
I'm thinking of simulating until March 25th or so, out-righting all of the non 25 man players, designating them to the appropriate level (AAA or AA), injuring the DL guys, simulating the 2 days required for the waiver claim to fall off, then ordering the MLB rosters. Saving. Then starting the regular season. This way the contracts and options remain intact, plus the rule 5 will still work correctly.
