The invention of the forthcoming Player Vault has sapped my motivation, knowing that I can just piece this back together in about a month (with proper Potentials, nonetheless) in a fraction of the time it took to make...I'm not sure there's going to be another upload...

Could you post the final version you have with Josh Gibson on the Negro League?Comment

Re: All-Timers Teams
Yeah there is a thread called "classic rosters" which we will be creating old rosters, best of's, and probably seasons, but I think once a lot of these are out, I think the seasons will be easy to come by.Comment

Re: All-Timers Teams
I'm sorry, but I'm new to this and I was wondering if anyone could give me step by step directions on how to get these rosters on my ps3? I have the file downloaded to my computer and I have a flash drive, but I don't know how to convert it over to my ps3. Thanks in advance!!Comment

Re: All-Timers Teams
Rather than trying to go by memory, I'm just going to quote Knight's instructions from one of his threads. Remember once you follow these instructions and then load the game, you need to go to Load, Load Rosters in order to use them.
Okay...
IF they are zipped(meaning if you download it from a website like here...they probably are)...you have to unzip the folder.
You can use this....www.winzip.com .....the trial version will work for 45 days.
Once the folder is unzipped and the save is on the USB drive...make sure the structure is this...
PS3/SAVEDATA/BCUS(49303859...I'm making these numbers up...they are different for each save) inside here are the actual save files.
With the USB in the PS3....go to the front screen(the screen you see WITHOUT a game in...)
Go to the GAME section
Go to the SAVED DATA UTILITY(PS3) section
Highlight the USB drive...hit X..
Highlight the save...hit triangle...and choose COPY.
This will copy the save to your hard drive.
Now when you play the game...you have to choose that saved roster when you are ready to play or start a franchise.
Let me know if you need anymore help.
M.K.

Re: All-Timers Teams
I'll tell you what...give me about a week and I'll complete the Negro League teams and the International Teams. By my count, I have about 38 players total left to do...
I went out and bought a new flash drive and within a week, the old one turned up...I knew that was going to happen.
Anyway, I'll be working all weekend, so I can't touch it now, but once I complete the teams within the next week, I'll put it into the vault...is that where you can grab it or do you need it as a downloadable file?Comment

Re: All-Timers Teams
Any chance I can just get the rosters you have? Especially with 11 coming out today I dont see you wanting to go back to 10 which I understand.
Thanks MysterioComment

Re: All-Timers Teams
Actually, while I think '11 is a much better game overall (the defense is the most improved overall), I don't think the gameplay is significantly different enough for me to do this all over again, roster vault or no roster vault, especially without the Roster Tools at my disposal, so I'm going to finish this and I'm going to play both games over the next year, '10 when I want to play All-Timers and '11 when I want current rosters, etc. I'm going to work on this over the next couple of days and I'll post somewhere when I get it done. Hang tight.Last edited by MysterioMan007; 03-08-2011, 07:38 PM.Comment

Re: All-Timers Teams
Eh, cancel that. I start to look at that edit screen and I want to gag myself. I'm still going to play, but the extra teams will just have to be incomplete.
Listed under AllTimers MLB40Man+
The Silver and Gold Era teams are partly done, but I'm through editing for '10. I'm just playing from here on out.Comment

Re: All-Timers Teams
While its disappointing you probably won't be doing All Timers teams in 11 (especially with people finding hidden real faces, etc.) its totally understandable. All the work you put into these rosters for 10 were incredible. I can't tell you how many game hours I spent playing and enjoying them. I'm sure there are lots of people who will take a crack at creating "'all time" or "best of" teams this year so hopefully they can do as good a job as you did.
Thanks again for all the work you put into these they were great!Comment
