        Re: All-Timers Teams

I realize that most people use more pitchers, but I'm not going back now to change everything when I'm getting closer and closer to being done. Remember, this is just the way I plan on doing mine. I don't use that many pitchers during games, so I'm not carrying a lot of pitching.

The 40-Man roster idea is to add more pitchers to the mix for those who wish to carry more on their team. I'll probably have a ratio of 9-10 pitchers to 5-6 positional players as the 15 extra players on the 40-man rosters to help out when injuries happen, etc. That way, people can adjust the rosters as they wish. I will keep some of the extra guys in mind, though, when I start the 40-Man rosters (which shouldn't take near as long).

After that, I'll fill the minors with as many lower-tier guys as possible to give other options.

EDIT: After some thought,I have removed Ensberg and put in Enos Cabell as Rader's backup. Caminiti will remain with San Diego...Glenn Davis is bumped to the 40-Man Roster as Hunter Pence, whose stats are much better than I realized, is on the team, moving Berkman to 1B.

I finished the Astros. That is just the roster for the Brewers that I'll now be working on. Somewhere along the line, I started posting rosters before I work on them rather than after...

                  Re: All-Timers Teams

Thanks. I look forward to seeing yours as well. When I started this, had I known how long it takes and all the work that goes into this, I might not have done it. It's been almost 3 months, but I'm nearing the end now, so it's well worth it, I think.

Update: I should have the Brewers done today or tonight and have the Pirates roster posted. I only have about 8 pitchers left on the Brewers, but it all depends on how much time I'll have later.

Thank you, Knight, for all that you do. I've been playing with your all-minors rosters for quite a while in between working on this stuff whenever I get tired of making players and actually concentrate on playing the game. They're excellent and much appreciated. Saves everyone so much time on making all the prospects, even though I'm sure it absorbs yours. I'm also glad that you're enjoying the all-time rosters.

No update today. Had to work all day, will have to work tomorrow, spend time with the girlfriend, and gear up for an even longer work weekend. May do a little a day, but won't get the Pirates done probably until about Monday afternoon. Apologies for the delay.
