I had to re upload the set. i forgot to set the 25 (40 man) rosters to keep minor leaguers from coming up during season play. Back up in the vault now.

Thanks! Just got my glove handed to me(Dodgers) playing against the A's.

        Thanks for the set.

Did you plan on doing some more sets? I thought I read you may still do some more.

        Great work!

I've got all the players on the '88 set who played in '89 with their attributes set up already. I'll take a break and play for a bit, and then I'll finish an '89 set.

Amen brother, me too. There are a handful of teams I have to pick between.

If I weren't being the A's, I'd go with the Mets, they are STACKED.

The A's are such a juggernaut here. I am tempted to take The Dodgers. Or the Royals to play with Bo, Brett and that nice pitching staff.

                      So many to choose from!!!

Cool thing is you can create some postseason play if you just want to get into that as well.

                      Can't wait!

                        Re: 1989 Complete Rosters

                        Hey PJ.

Amazing job on these. Love the Major league roster for the Rays.....really nice touch. Now I will play my games against them and just smile seeing those guys.

I noticed some pitching rotations with 4 starters and the obvious 5th starter slotted at LRP. Any reason for this?

Anyway.....looking through all the teams....so many I like.

                        1) Yankees (as always love my Yankees and that sub par pitching staff that I keep thinking I can some how win with).

                        2) Royals - How can you not want to play with Brett, Bo jackson, Saberhagan, Gubiza, Stillwell, Willie Wilson etc.

                        3) Blue Jays - Love this team. The Crime dog (one of my all time favorite first baseman not named Mattingly) Barfield, Bell, Steib, Key Henke, Ward, Tony Fernandez....love this team.

                        4) A's - nuff said

                        5) Pirates - Bonds, Bonilla, Drabek etc

                        6) Mets - my god. That pitching staff is sick....I mean really sick.

                        7) Reds - 2 years before their WS run. What a nice roster they have. And what a bullpen.

                        8) Dodgers - such a scrappy team with tons of heart. A great pitching staff...man so tempting.

So I am in a quandry. I think I will have to play some other games around the league because of the great players all over the place. This was my favorite era of baseball without a doubt. The 80's were my golden years for the greatest game ever.

I will roll with 30 team control, no trades or injuries (CPU roster control) and figure out what team I decide to marry for the most part.

Then you will roll out the 89.....LOL. Awesome stuff PJ.

Outstanding job PJ! I am also stewing over which team to play with. Every year I've used the Cubs for classic rosters. This might be the first time I don't. Like Armor said, I can't resist that Royals squad so that may be what I do. Then again that Mets staff is indeed the sickness. HUGE thanks man your rosters are always top-notch! I'll be playing this until next year's game cuz of this set.

I'm liking the Royals, Mets, A's and Reds. Of course now A&S has got me wanting to look at the Jays, too. Guess I'll have to play a few exhibition games and try to decide. I love classic rosters!

Yes tried these out yesterday and it was fantastic...Did a game, Morris vs. Clemens, a great pitching dual. I forgot Fred Lynn played for the Tigers....if only somehow I can get Gibby back....
