Re: 1989 Complete Rosters
Just giving an update to any 30 something year olds out there interested. The roster is coming along nicely, I'm on spring break now and should get a lot done towards this, this week. Still in the process of transferring over players from years past into '13, and updating certain guys faces. Taking some breaks to actually play some games this year, gameplay seems nicely improved this year.
Thanks for the update! Im 34 and new to the series so these rosters have me more excited then the other rosters!Comment

PJ are you going with correct potentials for franchise mode or just for season play? Either way I'm excitedComment

Re: 1989 Complete Rosters
The top Prospects will have the "top 50" tag
It will be a 25 man roster, but I was thinking about adding a few other prospects
All players will have correct age/attributes/faces/equipment/repertoire for the '88 season
It should be as detailed as any roster could be.Comment

Awesome news if you need any help let me know, I'm quite busy as well 60 a week. How is your progress coming alone? I ask because that 1990 was brutal last year, it felt like a second jobLast edited by jethrotull; 03-30-2013, 03:18 PM.Comment

Re: 1989 Complete Rosters
I'm on Spring Break right now, so I've got a little time. I've got two kids under three now so I'm trying to squeeze CAPs out during naps and so on. I've already got player models from years past for nearly everyone needed, so I'm just copying them over to '13, pretty time consuming though. I'm trying to get some games out to break up the cap process.Comment

Re: 1989 Complete Rosters
Time for an update.........
-I've got nearly all of the CAPs set up now.
-Nearly all players are in the game (name/ht/wt, repertoire, stance, equipment)
-All players have rating set to their '89 season (will change those last)
-About 1/3 of the players faces are made
-Still have to wipe out all current players/fake players
-Got most of the top 50 rookies/minors made
Still have a ways to go, but these are playable with nearly every team now.Comment

Re: 1989 Complete Rosters
Yeah these are pretty fun to do. I got down my Upper Deck deck set from that year and checked them out for the first time probably since then. I still had the Griffey in a hard case. I think they were selling for over $50 when they came out. I think you can get the whole set fot like $20 now.
Some of the shoes are an issue right now, Cards and a few others shoes can't be turned all red, kind of annoying. I'm ecstatic that the A's finally have the yellow socks, they've always been white. I can finally give them the high stirrups. I'll keep people updated as I go.Comment

Re: 1989 Complete Rosters
Truly awesome...I can't wait to get a look at these.....Loved my O's that year, Jeff Ballard and Bob Milacki before they realized they weren't good!
Great year for baseball though, and hopefully you can upload or email me the set when they're done?Comment
