    Re: 1989 Complete Rosters

To be honest, for the guys I had no clue on (which were most), I just put a random motion/stance for them. I only watched the A's back in the day but had a little bit of a clue on some of the other players from memory. Lot of stances and deliveries are coming from the 80's/90's thread.

These rosters are awesome! I'm not usually in to classic rosters, but I decided to try them out and was just blown away! I love watching baseball from the late 80s/early 90s. Every since I played parts of a few games last night to try out some teams, I've been on-line re-living that season by looking at stats and such. I even found some YouTube videos of games/highlights from that season. You mentioned something about having some 80s music. Is it possible you could share that as well? I think that would be really cool to add as I plan on playing a season with these! Thanks for your hard work on the set!

Has anyone noticed that the 1989 All-Star Game was played in Anaheim just as this year's is to be? I thought that was cool

Also, you mentioned the retired numbers being fixed, but I'm gettin Cal Ripken as #11 and some others not wearing their numbers as well. I DL v. 3.

Man I just tried this set and man it brought back some memories. Being a Giants fan and seeing that 89 roster was great. Too bad Candlestick isn't one of the stadiums that we can select in this game. If there was one I'd probably have to start another franchise..LOL!

Ryan updated the ratings using the Banzo tools, which is v.3, I don't think that the retired number fix were used on that set. V.2 has the retired numbers fixed, but the ratings are the ones I put up.

Checked out V2 last night (can't find V3, anyone help?) and played Red Sox (CPU) vs. Mets (me) @ Shea. Only had time for 5 innings but the game was real nice. Players look good and the stances, at least what I noticed, are very accurate.

                Good work.

I've been waiting for Candlestick to be in a game for awhile, watched a lot of games there as a kid.

i can reup v.3...i have also finished rating the 1990 rosters and am just moving retired players to the extra 3 teams (4th is pjsnells movie team) rather than using golden era and certain silver era players...i am working on v.4 for 89 right now...for that, the american association AAA teams will be done (already finished with I-cubs, Omaha, and Nashville) and all retired numbers will be worked around...if someone would like to take the v.3 i up here in a bit and do the retired number workaround and reup again for others to use till v.4 comes out that would be great...cheers

I hear ya! That would be cool if they did add it to the game.

They are in the roster vault (online). If you can't find them I'd be happy to post them on here. Also, Ryan, I think I've got all the retired number players who have to be switched written down somewhere, once the baby goes to sleep I can post a v.4 with the numbers.

If you could upload v3 to the vault again, that would be great. Can't find them either.
