You my friend ....if you use the Red Sox...have a very good chance to overtake the Yankees. I think you needed just one more front line pitcher. Pedro was phenomenal that year. The wild card was out of the question.....so you gotta catch the W.S. winners.

Im from Boston, this sounds cool. Was 2000 the yr Pedro started in the All-Star game and struck out the first 8 batters he faced or sumthin like that? I think it was, Pedro was a beast back in the day with that circle change. He had a nasty curveball and his 2 seam fastball was 95+ with ridiculous runnning action. Pedro was my favorite pitcher of all time when he was in his prime for us.

Hey Knight, any chance you have your prospect rosters as a roster file instead of a fran file for this year. I want to make all teams 40 player rosters and 25 man MLB rosters current and play my season all the way through with them. Once I get a roster file of yours with prospects I will make all 30 teams 40 and 25 man rosters current, along with their lineups and pitching rotations. I also found a prospect missing when going through some minor league players. The 20 yr old SS who is playing single A for the braves now after the trade - Tyler Pastornicky.. The trade was Yunel Escobar and Jo-Jo Reyes from Atlanta for Alex Gonzalez, Tim Collins and Tyler Pastornicky from Toronto... If you could help me it would be great.=)

Then you would have to swing, break your bat (Piazza's bat) and it would have to fly towards Clemens.. Then off of his HGH rage, Clemens would throw the broken bat at you..

He struck out the first five batters he faced in the 1999 All Star Game at Fenway Park.

Sosa, McGwire, Larkin, Walker, and Bagwell. Holy hell, that was amazing.

I'm not sure what you are asking(sorry)....but the OSFM is a roster file.
You could take it and move anyone around with the MANAGE ROSTER section and then start a franchise.
As for missing players....I'm done..." ....you guys will have to make a few yourselves!

              Onto these rosters.
I did the starting 20+ for the Rockies last night. I won't get to do anything until I get back from work tomorrow night(no laptop for a while)...but I got a little shot in with them last night.
Another stacked offensive team...but terrible pitching. Wow....one ace and another solid starter and this team easily could have won the West.
I created Todd Helton....you guys were right...he looked weird with the goat.
I played a mid August game against them and he was leading the league with a .345 average and had 29 homers(I think Bonds was leading with 32...I saw it scroll by...yes I actually played this game vs. managing)....

              Batting stances...
If you guys have any suggestions, that would be a big help. That's the toughest part for me.

              Thanks.

Sweet, where can I get it as a roster file? I was looking at the OS full minors V 4 thread and they have it as a franchise file. Where can I get the OSFM roster file? Is it online or a zipped saved file I upload? If online what is your PSN so I can get it or should I just search OSFM in the vault? I will try searching it, thanks for the help.

Knight, amazing work. Heck I was even surprised at mo vaughns stance as it kind of looked like he waswas indeed corwding the plate lol. Playing an exhibition felt so real. Made it feel like 2000 all over again. I will try a few more games before offering any recommendations. Heck even ken hill looked good when I started him against maddux. Knight thank you for all your hard work. Can't wait until the set is finished. Also skipped the season with the halos and glaus hit 47 haha. Greatness

Below is a quote from the OP. It will be opening day rosters with transaction pages so you can replay the season exactly as it played out. Pretty cool.

It will include EVERY player who played in the 2000 season....rated....face...equipment and stances.
This set is meant to be played(but it doesn't have to be if you want to really try and re-write history) with 30 team control on in order to follow the season exactly with transactions.
I will also include a transaction page for each day, so that you can make the trades/releases/signings on the day it happened.

I finished up the Colorado Rockies last night.
I took them into a game in late August and as expected Helton was smashing the ball.
I believe it was the last week of August and he was batting .345 with 35(36 after the game) homers.
There are a few guys to watch out for on that squad....Cirillo, Hammonds and Walker(when he was healthy I guess...he only played 80+ games).
Hollandsworth was playing well(recieved in a trade for Goodwin later in the season)...but after that not much and the pitching was pretty bad.

I'll post these up for you guys a little later.

I'll be working on the Classic set tonight...then back to these.
