This is very cool, can't wait to see these in action. Who will win the MVP? Cy Young? That clutch player on your team?

      So. Many. Possibilities

Just sent the file to Raliegh.

Each team has ~60 players, evenly split between batters and pitchers.

The spreadsheet is sorted by [1] team, [2] position, [3] clutch (overall player value).

The potentials are on there as well.

There are also 5 free agents at each position (if we want to use them).

Skin tone is just a suggestion. Also, each "tone" can be multiple skin tones in the game.

Pitchers will be done in a couple of days. I'll be out of town tomorrow during the day, youth league draft after that, then I'll resume working on these.

For my themed names for when I get the generic sets I have Washington(presidents) names chosen and the Cubs/Sox pretty much chosen as well. Made each of them North Side/South Side unique and my favorite touch is some mobsters from the 20's representing the North Side Moran and South Side Capone gang.

I'm just stopping on real quick to say that tonight is really busy. Poor timing, I know, since the batters' spreadsheet is done. I'll have some time in the morning.

I ended up having a bit of time, so I updated the first post on this thread. The link to the spreadsheet is on there. It has all of the batters done. Everyone give TripleThreat a round of applause!

              Let's get started!

You need to start drinking better beer.

I might, repeat might, be interested in doing Pittsburgh for your set if you guys move forward with the project. I helped with PIT for OSFM, so I need a week or two break from editing right now. I guess I'll drop by now & then to see how much progress you make while I get some R&R.

[1] Why drink beer when they make Southern Comfort?

[2] Hopefully the rosters will be done before a few weeks.

I'm may be one of the few who remember this but the old Ken Griffey baseball game for SNES had some pretty funny names like Can O Corn, and many others that I just can't remember.

I was editing my post while you replied... a few weeks didn't sound right. Like I said, I'll check in when I feel like tackling another editing project. If Pittsburgh still isn't complete, great, if they are, no worries.

                              Best of luck.
