Hoping for the regular MLB Opening Day.
But I do want to see what some of the players(Darvish for example) look like on the first update.....which if we use would slightly delay the release by a couple of days.

For someone who has never downloaded a roster update, would you mind giving me a quick briefing on how this Darvish business will work? Once he pitches in a game (presumably that first Sunday or Monday), SCEA releases an update that includes him, headshot and all? Does SCEA include other players making their debuts that first week? From there, do you merge that roster into the OSFM?

Thanks for the work that goes into the OSFM - I've got one co-worker frothing at the mouth when I told him about how great the set is.

Most likely not a picture of him. And when someone debuts, they will appear in the next weeks SCEA roster update.

I have completed the Cubs 40 man roster and Brett Jackson. It was only about 8 players but it's a start. All the faces and ratings look great too. I "might" release some previews....

After reading the ESPN article about how bad pitch arsenals are once again being misrepresented this year is there any chance for the good of authentic baseball that you will do pitch edits for MLB pitchers too

It's pretty bad that some pitchers don't even have their signature pitch

Correct. Use any player to make any other player. The ages "reset" in both minor league service time and Rule V time.

I know Ridin' will have N.Y. and Philly ready for you pretty quickly.

Sounds good. I may just wait for Ridin' to finish those 2 teams so I can at least PLAY the game for a short while before I dive into the editor.

I'll let you know when I'll be ready to start receiving files tomorrow. Really anxious to get started.

Yes...PLEASE.
NO changes to SCEA players for the initial set.
There is room for that in subsequent releases.

Does that even matter? Don't you just import the minor league players from the roster and import it into yours.

But yeah, I forget who I was working with last year near one of the releases (when I was trying to get in some equipment edits) and they had edited JJ Hardy.
