Yes, we have a bunch of them already added. I will be editing bodies tonight and ARoid will be doing faces.

Re: 2012 OSFM: Top Prospects
Its mine, but I am going to add another one right now with some extras included. I had about 5 A rated position players left over so I added the guys whom I feel are the highest upside players with the best chance of becoming All-Stars.
I really wanted to add Gyorko, Swihart, Marte, Gray, Odorizzi and a few others.Comment

ksig, I haven't had a chance to look at the top 100 you posted on the roster vault, but the list you posted earlier here is missing Milwaukee and Minnesota. Did Miguel Sano and Jean Segura make the cut for A's?Comment

Did I miss them????
Never heard of the first guyand Segura didnt make it. I dont see him being an impact player at this point. I have seen him in person several times and though he does fly, unless the Halos stick him in CF then I dont see the value. As you know LAA has a CF logjam at this point.

I gotta admit I chuckled a bit at this response.

Been gone for a few days and would like to know what I have missed. Waiting on Knight to respond to one of my questions regarding the top prospect project. Being that I am extremely meticulous and picky when it comes to a true A rated prospect I wanted to ease up a bit for the experience. My motion is to add a selected few of A rated prospects per team and rate them accordingly. That way you Padres fans will get your Liriano, Kelly, Grandal, Hedges and Erlin's as well as the Brewers fans with Jungmann, Bradley, Thornberg etc.
What this will entail is a true A rated prospect with a high ceiling being rated as such from the graph and a B+(A) prospect being given an A, but projected ceiling stats lower in reference to the graph.
Make sense? I think it will offer the user a better experience.
Players like Liriano, Ross, Hedges and Sampson could become A prospects with more seasoning/experience in the higher levels.
Anyway, just wanted to give my two cents as a Padres faithful and avid minor league follower. I appreciate your insight and advanced knowledge of players.

Re: 2012 OSFM: Top Prospects
In my opinion I think his playing days are over, apparently he had a bunch of concussions when he was in high school that damaged his inner ears or something like that, causing all sorts of balance problems and such.
Originally posted by PadresFanI greatly respect your expertise and opinions about prospects. I agree you with about Padres prospects. Although they have a great farm system, I don't feel like they have a sure fire A prospect... yet.

A perfect example would be Latos. He arguably had the stuff for a frontline starter, but he was drafted in the teen rounds I believe and was never in the top 100, however if the Padres failed to sign him back in 2006, he easily could've been a first round pick the next time he was eligible.
I'll probably be a bit conservative with the Padres prospect potential ratings (and fortunately I had done the D'Backs first, as it would be discouraging to redo the top prospects ratings and such again), but I might end up .zip my original top prospects ratings in a separate file for people to download and import.
On a side note this is why I wish the dynamic potential feature in MLB The Show was more frequent in both ways. You have players whose stocks jump up greatly each year and others whose stocks fall off the table. Liriano already has made a big jump from a C to a B+ over the course of a year, likewise, Matt Antonelli went from a top second base prospect (A-) to a mediocre player rather quickly.Last edited by BatsareBugs; 03-14-2012, 10:45 PM.Comment

Re: 2012 OSFM: Top Prospects
His track record shows he CAN hit...He has a .296 average, he just had a bad year last year. If it wasn't for his .254 average last year he would probably be hitting over .300 for his minor league career. And he's hit double digit HR's every year except last year.Comment
