Looks like we're down to just 34 guys to complete the American League. We're making nice progress. Played a couple innings with a couple teams this morning, they're looking really nice so far.

You mean there is a mode in which you can actually play the game?? Ha, I haven't played hardly at all, just been making players. Can't wait to get this done and play should be a lot of fun. I still play my MVP 05 just cause I have the rosters all done. Everything looks good so far. I am just making pitchers as often as I can, should be able to make good progress tomorrow and Wednesday.

For some reason, it doesnt show that I am logged on to PSN when I sign in; wont let me upload players. Idk if it shows up for you [wehther or not im signed in] but I will try to get this fixed ASAP.

Down to the final 25 guys to complete the American League. We'll continue with the National League as soon as the AL is done. I'm guessing the 25 man set will be finished the week of June 10th. I'll be out of town June 8-11, but after that, I'm done with work for 2 1/2 months. Should be able to get them completed that week.

Bannister up to vault. I will try and get get as many pitchers done tomorrow and Wed as I can.

PJ/Maize/Scooter: I am gone from Thur - Sun, so if its helpful, I can create pitchers (and batters if you all want) complete with all the pitch info/ratings/etc., and leave them in the vault for someone else to complete the faces. Would this be useful?

I wouldn't worry about trying to rush things. Just keep doing what your doing, just finish the guy and then post him. I'll leave the "white" players to you guys and I'll keep "yellowing" out the "green" guys. Getting the face right, and looking through pictures for their gear is what takes the longest.

I think the roster is great the way it is. If I had a choice, I would have Willie Davis (3) aka Three Dog in for Tommie Davis.

Just to give my 2 cents as a die hard O's fan. These are moves I was going to make to the 25 man on my on after the roster was released as I didn't want to step on toes, delay the rosters, or get into a discussion, but thought I would just throw them out there see what you thought. I have these players already created and most are in the vault if you want to just use them (or at least put them on the 40).

1: Rick Dempsey should be in over Mickey Tettleton no question. Dempsey won the '83 WS MVP, was a great D catcher and fan favorite still to this day.

2: Hoyt Wilhelm should be on the White Sox. He played for them 1 more year, more IP, and twice as many appearances and was his absolute best with the ChiSox. Also he has a NY Giants (Not Sox) cap on in the HOF, so even the Giants make more sense then the O's. Dick Hall or Steve Barber (see below) should take his place.

3: Davey Johnson over Doug DeCinces. DeCinces had 1 great year and another good one, Davey was good all the time, though maybe a little bit less offense. Davey won 3 Gold Gloves and helped win 2 WS.

4: Dick Hall and Steve Barber over Storm Davis (and Dennis Martinez). Hall and Barber were much better then the other 2, Hall being an actual relief pitcher as well. Both had better ERA+ and WAR. Martinez was ok for a lot of years, never really all that good.

5: No O's fan (or really anyone for that matter) cared about the St. Louis Browns era, so I did only those who played for Baltimore after the move in 1954. This one I can see going either way because Sisler especially needs to be somewhere. But most O's fans don't consider the Browns ever part of Oriole history.

Those are just my suggestions, and won't be offended if you just want to get this done. I can always do them after on my own as I am sure many of us are going to make our own tweaks, but thought I would speak up now while we are still making edits.

It wouldn't let me upload Dick Hall because of Vulgar language which confused the hell out of me at first, haha, so instead of "Dick" he had to go in as D. Hall.

If you check out the original spreadsheet (on page 1), I've been updating that as well. There will be a lot of options for switching guys in or out. I was going to move around a few guys after they were finished as well.

My best guess is mid June, they will be worth the wait. AL is just about done. The 40 man will be a bit after that.

Toby Hall (TB), Kevin Seitzer, Darrell Porter & Mike McFarlane (KC) , Dave Valle & Jim Presley (Sea) up in vault. This should finalize AL, or at least now we have all the players created.
