I also noticed that Kid Nichols is not on the Braves roster. IMO he should definitely be there, he's one of the best pitchers in baseball history with over 300 wins to his name.

Re: OS All-Time Classic Roster (The Show '12)
Hey, I have a question kind of related this: For guys like Walter Johnson, who played on now defunct teams, where will they be placed? I suggest putting them in free agency (possibly negro league players as well and other old time players like Fred Dunlap and Dan Brouthers who played on teams who no longer exist).Updates on Twitter: 2KstauffComment

Re: OS All-Time Classic Roster (The Show '12)
I've been lurking here, and I'm really looking forward to these, don't quite know what I'll do with them -- Season is not my thing -- but I will enjoy them. Reminds me of when I played Strat-o-Matic as a kid, with Dale Murphy and Bob Horner as my Braves, then my uncle gave me HIS cards from 1966 and I mixed in so I had old players and new (didn't line up exactly, of course, because the game changed over the years, but the beauty of dice games was they really all happened in your head, so you could make stuff up as you went... but I digress...) Hmmm.... importing a 25 year old Hank Aaron into my current Braves franchise... tempting... move Heyward to LF.... NO! Must resist temptation!
But the real reason I comment here is just to say, LOL at including John Rocker... as a Braves fan, not the best of memories to bring up, but just wondering, is that because he's a fun player to have, or do his numbers really earn him a spot (I mean, aside from running his mouth, he actually was good for a couple years, right)? Not criticizing, not suggesting you change it or anything, just found it both funny and interesting and thought I'd ask. Good luck, and I look forward to the results!
Rocker is not going to be in the final set
its just one of KLU's caps.~~~~~~~~~

i dont think we have him, but that would put Josh Gibson on the Pirates etc
(i actually have a really nice Josh Gibson if we want to add him as a FA or onto the pirates)~~~~~~~~~

Thanks for the answer. Actually, as I thought about it, as far as relief pitchers you'd actually place on the Braves (considering Sutter would be a Cub, Hrabosky would prob be a Cardinal, Alejandro Pena would be a Dodger, Hoyt Wilhelm played for a lot of teams...), he might merit inclusion. I mean, Gene Garber, Mark Wohlers, the guys the Braves have now... Braves are much more known for great starters than relievers. Anyway, interesting issues, I'm sure it's kinda fun making those decisions.Comment

Great job, except is there any way to make him uglier? lol, george foster is one of the ugliest players ever... too bad there isn't an "ugly" slider!
(love George, one of the rare true power hitters of the 70s, but the man was ugly! and I'm no beauty queen myself, so I shouldn't judge.)Comment

Unless SCEA has changed season mode from last years version (they may have) you can play season mode almost EXACTLY like franchise mode. Meaning, you can continue playing season after season.
The only difference is you can only use your 40 man rosters. But, at the end of the year you can re-sign, cut, sign FA. Etc....Rosters Created

he was also the ONLY player to hit 50 home runs for the entire decade of the 70'sLast edited by drsublime; 05-15-2012, 06:37 PM.~~~~~~~~~

but watching him run full speed to the mound was always fun, and heck w/ a last name like ROCKER who wouldnt want to add him on post release to their roster
( i know there are 2 quality caps of him in the vault for sure, as myself and bigklu both made him)

I'm finished with Kid Nichols but need some time to look at him. He should be on my "BigKlu" player vault tomorrow.
Thanks for your input and if you have any other players you think should be added please don't keep it a secret.
