Re: Fictional Rosters 13
I offer my help, if needed, just tell me how and what to do. Also, once the initial fictional roster is done, I'm going to go through and rename them to match the rosters from Ken Griffey Jr's Winning Run, and I can upload it if anyone would want it.Comment

Re: Fictional Rosters 13
Very cool idea. Awesome coming from a coach with fresh faces everywhere lol
On a different note. I was thinking of creating 3 players , drafting them to a team of good prospects , playing 1 whole year of minors with the prospects in minors still too then bring them up to the MLB. Sooo I was thinking of a bizarro world of rosters. Like a speedy team , arod on the mariners etc. Then this roster just completely trumps it lolI play MLB exclusively with my cousin. Usually looking for info on Franchises. We played minor league baseball as 9-10 YOs on the Zephyrs.Comment

Since we've been waiting on the roster for a little while now, I've gone ahead and started swapping faces out. Right now I'm through the AL East/Central, and will try and get the base rosters posted some point before the weekend is up.
However, if you would like to sign up to format a team right now, that'd be killer.
Pick a team(s), go through the roster, and total how many A, B, C, and D potential players have service time. For example, the Tokyo Magikarp's roster looks as such:
Position A: 4
Position B: 6
Position C: 10
Position D: 5
Pitching A: 2
Pitching B: 13
Pitching C: 8
Pitching D: 3
You would then proceed to create 4 A ranked position players, 6 B ranked positions players, 10 C ranked position players, and 5 D ranked position players. Save them, give them names, but make sure you give them the overall potential somewhere in the save file name - this makes it easier when you're uploading. Repeat the process for the pitchers.
For easy/quick generation of names and stats, use http://www.operationsports.com/forum...generator.html
That way, when the file gets to you, hopefully you'll only need to upload. Uploading is tedious, but can be done quick. It's the customization and face editing that's the long, slightly more difficult part. If we get started on that now, maybe we can have these rosters out by the first week of May.

Re: Fictional Rosters 13
Sorry guys but life has become super busy and I can't begin to finish things up. As a matter of fact I didn't think about it and ended up naming guys with real names instead of Player A, Pitcher A and so forth which would have made things extremely difficult to sort through, so I had to scrap it. In return, I don't have time to start on a proper base file right now.
I apologize to those who were waiting. I'm so busy lately this is the first time I've even been able to sign on to OS in over a week. Good luck and if I get any free time I'm stop on by and offer to help out.

Re: Fictional Rosters 13
Bloodwerth and Random, have you guys worked on them before. This is the first time for me...first saw them when I bought '12 over the winter. Loved them and want to make sure I do them right. Are there any threads that go over all of the steps.Comment

Re: Fictional Rosters 13
What I like to do is go into audio first name and hold the R2 button then press L1 and select a name as long as its a real one and not sir dudenstien or something. Then I go to last name audio and repeat it. Just make sure the name makes sence.Comment
