Re: 2013 OS FICTIONAL rosters
For the next update, I say the Mets should have a lefty starter in the rotation and a lefty or two in the bullpen, plus maybe another power hitter or two.Last edited by JH823Opsport; 07-04-2013, 10:33 PM.Comment

Re: 2013 OS FICTIONAL rosters
Loving the rosters good to see some old faces like Ron Wheeler around. A quick question, not sure if its the rosters or my settings, I started several test leagues just controlling one team and have noticed zero injuries in the league. I am past all star break and nothing? Any idea why this is and how i fix it?Comment

Re: 2013 OS FICTIONAL rosters
Odd actually this is the first time I tried a league without controlling all teams. The great part for me with fictional rosters is I can worry about my one team (in this case the fictional Astros), and not be bothered by trying to control all the odd things the computer does. I probably just have something selected incorrect. I did as follows:
New franchise I control one team Houston. I then click ignore budgets (a preference but probably whats screwing injuries up?), then start the league. No DL or injuries ever occur to my controlled team or any computer teams. Anyone know how to solve this?
PS
Loving the rosters and put some time aside to play this weekend. So far I have grown attached to a guy called Carmona on Houston big veteran who just hits not a star but good all around bat.Comment

Re: 2013 OS FICTIONAL rosters
Thanks all it was my stupid error I had injuries on the main game screen on manual. Changed it to CPU and now I am getting injuries in the league. Played a bit yesterday and loving the fictional players. My Astros team looks like a 500 club with lack of hard throwing guys on the mlb roster and minors. With that in mind I have been looking at other teams minor leagues with a mind to make a few trades in late July to restock the minors with some hard throwing arms. Looking at my club I have some useful +30 guys that may help out some teams in tight races. I will hang on to Carmona hes in his late 30's but I just love that guy.
Thanks again for the fantastic rosters all the hard work is very much appreciated. I can finally enjoy this game instead of worrying about a Mat Garza and Antony Rizzo for Phil Hughes trade made by the computer or other such odd things.Comment

Re: 2013 OS FICTIONAL rosters
King Riles and I have talked about a V2, but likely will not release another version unless there is demand for it. Unlike "real life" rosters, there aren't players that need constant ratings adjustments or equipment fixes. If there are enough suggestions/improvements that could be made to warrant a V2 I could see us working on it.Comment
