Re: Classic Teams
Find the roster file and copy it to a USB drive.
Put the USB drive in a PC...right click and choose to SEND TO...COMPRESSED FILE....
Rename it whatever you want and move it to your desktop.(the new compressed file)
Go to www.sendspace.com and choose to upload a file and find that zipped file on your desktop.
It will give you a COPY code...click on it and then past it here by using the icon in the reply section that looks like a globe and a paperclip(right under the white smiley between the A and the paperclip drop downs.

Re: Classic Teams
you moving to the ps4 for 2014? If so I could use some help w/ the All Time Roster.... I'm in recruiting mode at the moment, trying to see if I can get enough hands in the pot to make this realistic.~~~~~~~~~

Re: Classic Teams
At this time, I'd have to say I'm not moving next year, drsublime, but I will be eventually. The work I put into this set will keep me happy for another year. Keep me in mind or I'll find you when I do. I'd love to be part of any all-time roster project, and I admire your work. Terrific faces! Good luck and Merry Christmas!Pitching, defense and 2 out RBIs win a lot of ball games!

Re: Classic Teams
Some basic questions for you guys:
1.) Will there be duplicate players?
ex. Babe Ruth Pitcher, for Red Sox, and OF for Yankees or just Yankee OF. Or roid Bonds or Pirate Bonds?
2.) Career stats, or average of 3 best season stats?
3.) Time period? 1920s - present or earlier?
4.) Team assignment: Mike Piazza with Mets or Dodgers? McGwire with Cardinals or A's? Griffey Jr. with Seattle or Reds? (If #1 is not intended)
5.) Ideal deadline for project?Comment

Re: Classic Teams
Every once in a while you just have those special games that you can’t keep to yourself. My re-tooled 2013 Red Sox are playing Knight’s 1949 Yankees in the ALCS, and Game 4 was truly memorable. Jon Lester hurled a 6 hit complete game shutout to give Boston a commanding 3-1 series lead. He never walked a batter and kept a rejuvenated Yankee offense off balance all game as I suffered a 7-2 thrashing the night before. Tommy Bryne was the hard luck loser but walked the tightrope throughout his five innings walking 3 and surrendering 6 hits.
Holding a tenuous 2-0 lead going into the sixth, Mike Napoli led off with a single off Yankee reliever Cuddles Marshall. Stephen Drew put it out of reach with a two run homer down the right field line. Jacoby Ellsbury was a perfect 3-3 with 3 doubles. He also has 6 SBs in the playoffs. I hope to close things out at Fenway in Game 5. David Ortiz has also been on fire, batting .474 in these playoffs and he went 3-4 with an RBI double. Highlights are below.
Incidentally, this roster I’m using here is a combination of Knight’s terrific teams and a few new additions by yours truly. When I get around to finishing up the teams, I’ll post it as Classic Teams V2.0. I asked Knight about including some of his teams in a combined effort and he was, not surprisingly, very gracious. I’m simply putting in the teams of Knight’s that I don’t have and adding a few of my own. It won’t be as plentiful of a release with regards to teams compared to my V1.1 release, but people can import teams over that they care to add.

Re: Classic Teams
Yep bostongahden that is how I do it as well. I "MIX" some of your '60s era teams with Knight's '60s era teams and play them in Post Season mode. I do use late '50s and/or early '70s teams as well.
That is the era of baseball I enjoy most and each of you guys really produce exceptional rosters which are fairly compatible regarding the ratings scales each of you use thus making this "MIX"ture really fun & realistic.
THANKS !
