As for the relabeling of CPs..there are really only 1-3 CPs per organization per game. Seeing that there are 3 levels, I really don't see a problem.

Someone else mentioned a Jason Heyward position fix, but it's already fixed in the current version...not sure if he was looking at something else.

Plus what I PM'ed to you Willard. Enjoy!
Can this also be added in??

Also if you get around to it, could you put Brandon Cumpton in the starting rotation for the Pirates as he took over for Wandy since he got DFA'd. Thanks again!!

Can swap Cumpton into the 25-man in place of Vin Mazzaro for the Buccos as Mazzaro is currently off the 25-man.

Was wondering if Hanley's arm was overlooked. In both games I played with the dodgers, routine plays to short are either beaten out at first or Barely out. I understand Hanley isn't an outstanding defender, but he has a pretty good arm to counter the fact that he does not have the greatest of ranges. I slight bump in arm strength seems appropriate... Turner seems to lob the ball from 3rd, but since he is a bench player its not as noticeable, Hanley on the other hand, is noticeable

Runners beating out singles can be heavily affected by the slider settings you're using.

So do we have a timeframe for V2 and V2 OD?

This all depends on what transactions or player updates still need to be done. I am hoping I can rely on a specific assistant who currently has the master roster to make some of these adjustments for me. I still have about 20 players who need some TLC in ratings.

Great news is waittilnextyear sent me a great PM detailing stats and such from tests he ran overnight and we got numbers more where we want them. I haven't had a chance to completely dive into them but what I saw was very good and with what I am going to tweak tonight we should be as close as we can get.

Ok I stayed up a while doing some sims because I like to simulate really far ahead and see how guys pan out... obviously the prospects are being graded on last years potential for instance I think a good thing to do would be max potential for a prospect is 93 or 92 around the myers or yelich range... buxton russell polanco taveras Lindor and a lot of others ended up being better than everyone but Trout and Harper. This year it is very hard to get over a 92-93 potential for young guys. Harper Trout Puig Manny and Jose are the only 95+ off the top of my head. Should polanco taveras russell buxton lindor and countless others really end up being Mike Trout and better than Manny and Puig. I have looked at the 23 and younger guys and It seems like 91-93 tops IMO for pitchers thats the Cole Miller Teheran range and 92-93 for hitters thats the myers and yelich range. Sorry for the long post I didn't know if this bothered anyone else.

Re: MLB 14 The Show OSFM Hybrid Roster - V1 Release

I just want to make one thing clear because I'm reading other threads blasting defensive ratings. We didn't come up with those numbers and certainly didn't input them (Willard and myself). They were outsourced and we never went back to double check out of time constraints and trying to get something out to you guys. I personally have updated many many defensive ratings for this next update. We're OCD about accuracy too.

And we did not neglect prospects in favor of 30 year olds. Yes, we forgot Reese McGuire, but he was forgotten on the initial release of OSFM that we were working off of. It's no big deal because I had a McGuire sitting around with an edited face and ratings that we've easily imported in. We favor accuracy in AAA and AA more so than A-ball players who aren't top prospects in their organization and will continue to do so. If you look around we created probably 50-100 or more new players with accurate faces and stances/motions and repertoires.

We've been lucky to have some awesome guys join to help us and the work we've put into this is commensurate to a full-time job which Willard and myself already work. We seek out feedback that will help improve what we already have and just trust that we'll deliver because doing so is all we care about.

I've read that stuff too... So Arenado has excellent fielding ratings now? Puig's throw strength fixed?

No Pressure here just dropping by today to say whatup. I helped input pitch edits to this last year so I know how many man hours go into this thing. It's the same thing every year though, somebody complaining about something and feeling as though they can put together a better roster. The thing I love about this roster is not only the in depth editing, but the fact that this roster basically takes multiple people's works to create one masterpiece. The beauty of it all really is at the end of the day, you have the power to put the finishing edits to YOUR liking before starting your franchise. Just never understood the complaining or skepticism. Anyways, keep truckin guys the light at the end of the tunnel is near.

Really looking forward to the v2 release tonight. I'm not a DBacks fan by any means, but I wanted to throw out that Pollock and Owings are two guys who deserve a boost in ratings. To be honest I haven't check your roster yet, I'm just trying to think of guys who have outperformed their SCEA ratings to this point in the season IRL.

Excellent depends on what you consider excellent. Real to life. Very much so. I actually bumped up Puig a bit more from the first change we made last night.

I would guess well over 200 changes yesterday

I know both of them crossed my search of updates yesterday, both ate currently on pace with original projections. Pollack did get a defensive upgrade
