      Thanks for all the hard work on these. The game plays great with the sliders and roster edits. I did lower pitch speed to 6, since I'm an old guy with slower reflexes. In your opinion, will that affect the way the game plays?

        Enjoyed the last game so much I had to squeeze one more in before going to bed...........LOL

        Yanks (Me) 2 r, 7 h, 0 e, 1 hr, 1 sb, 3 so, 1 bb
        O's (CPU) 3 r, 8 h, 0 e, 0 hr, 0 sb, 3 so, 1 bb, 3 doub

        I had the lead 2-0 until the 7th when Hughes ran out of gas.

        Another great game, can't wait to play again.

        I highly recommend this roster file for the edits and slider settings.....PLAYS AWESOME !!!

          Downloaded this last night, and seems like from the feedback that everyone is liking this. I for one didn't have a problem with extra base hits, but balls down the line that would normally get to the wall were being cut off by slower OF'ers like Adam Dunn and such, so it will be nice to see the variance now.

              Create the following folder structure on your usb

              PS3
              ------>
              SAVEDATA
              -------------->
              BCUS98141_ROST_00000000F6BC2061

              Copy all the files into the lower level....BCUS981....

              The pop your usb into your ps3 and you'll find the files from there then copy them to your HD.
              Hope that helps.

                Still haven't seen more than ONE WALK per game from a CPU pitcher in HOF.
                Anybody have?!

                  I'm watching AI v AI games and I've seen several...like I say this is AI v AI though...but looking good from that point of view.

                      Ya, same here. I wasn't having any problems with the EB hits, but with these rosters I feel it plays more to real life. It just opens up the field that much more and not every OF is running it down like a Torii Hunter.

                        Is the editited roster necessary for these sliders to work well? I ask because what happens when there is a new roster update or a new set with all the minor leagues in it? Having to edit and re-edit every guy seems like a pain. Thanks.

                          Can you send me the zip file to [email protected]? I downloaded it from MiamiMarlins, but the roster seems to have all the players original reaction setting....I deleted all rosters from the HD and then just copied this one and the same results.....thanks

                            I mentioned before that I was using these sliders with the "normal" roster. I was getting great results. However, stealing bases and the closing speed in the OF was bothering me. So I made the edits. Since I only play season mode, I dont have to worry about new players next year with higher speed and arm ratings.

                            I am happy with the way OF and IF plays now. I've seen new animations with dive attempts into the gap. OFer's making plays in the corner and off the walls. Just so much more fun.

                            Try the sliders with the regular roster and I'm pretty sure you will get decent results.

                            Once change I did make to the sliders, is that I lowered pitch speed to 11. Its a matter of preference, but I think the variation in speed is better around the 7-13 level rather than 14+

                              would someone be willing to help me?

                              i downloaded JT's roster from this thread.. and then went through and edited my four pages of appearance and stance edits that i've saved in a Word document from the various edit threads on here.. and i was going to upload it but am not sure how/where..

                              i saved the file to my flash drive already so I have the "PS3" folder on my flash drive but can't figure out how to upload it

                                At the ps3 menu, go to saved date. it should show your USB drive there, probably the top one. Open the USB drive, push Triangle for options. Then copy.

                                Load up the game and it should be there.
