I am currently at nemesis's sliders and im 2-1 after goin 12-1 just wondering which is more realistic......

BTW--- I play ps2 HOF without sliders im 12-1 soooooo yea

I know this sounds like a cop out, but impossible to answer. Both are excellent sliders...but it all comes down to your skill level and how you play the game. I usually start with a set and tweak from there...we all have different reflexes and views of what is "real" in a baseball game and what is not.

Download a set and tweak from there...that's my advice.

I havent played Nems but im really enjoying OLDMANS so far

How are you doin on oldmans????

i just started my 5th game (been slow playing lately) after a 2-2 start...

They banged 6 runs off me (most in season) and it was first 2 innings.. then i came back and got 2... so im in the 4th inning.. score...

I notice a lot of you use classic pitching with these sliders and have reported good results. I tried classic for the first time and thought it was next to impossbile to control pitch location. I don't mind being off some because that is normal with baseball but when I'm aiming low and away and my pitcher sends it up and out over the plate consistently, it becomes an issue. What's the trick? Is there a certain release point that ensures accuracy? I also notice my pitchers engery burns up faster on classic.

I don't use classic so i have no clue.... i dont use striek zone so its hard enoug ht ofind the batters strike zone.. I have to you the patterns in the grass (the light and dark) to imagine in my midn a strike zone... like left corner is the 3rd white line and bottom is the 2nd dark like by the knee... etc... haha hard but nemesis sliders are fun....

The funniest thing with OLD mans is the cpu never quits and plays very agressive and smart .
after 12 games so far so good.
The big thing when you switch sliders dont tweak , play them for 20 games before reviewing then changing.

do u play with strike zone, hot zone, guess pitch etc.???

Im 2 - 10 but have seen all types of games . alot of my losses were to due to my impatience at the plate .
Im in a playoff Phil (me) vs Cubs and I won 13-4 knocked out Lilly in a 1 1/3.
I never did this with anyones sliders , I did add to a few sliders due to RAZr suggestions Hu pow add 1 and I added 3 to hu arm strength . He also maxed out cpu base run agres and base steal agr.

... so far im 2-3 with these sliders. .should be 3-2...

i wad down 6-3 bot 9th.. base loaded 1 out.. yunel escobar (im angels.. got hi min trade) was up right befroe vladdy.. he lined it down the line.. the 3rd baseman dove.. i pushed 2 run back incase he caught it which he did.. my baserunners ran back but out of no where there 2ndbasemen appearred... i was like wtf??? it was a glitch he was over by 1st then a flash and hes on 2nd.. i lost.. bull---- hahaha

Is it fair sometimes no , but it beats 2k8 arcadefest gimmic stuff.
Its bottom of the 6th and im losing 2-1 just cant hit Dumpster and Im not that off since game 1s 13-4 win lol but thats how baseball is ! I also really like if your down 0-2 you can still get a hit I didnt see this with my previous sliders.

yea 2k08 sucks!!!! getting 13 runs 1 night then shutout the next is REAL baseball....

im i nthe 3rd inning against boston... i am winning 1-0... yunel hti a homer i nthe first.... dice-k is pitchign and his slider is NASTY!!!!!!!!!!!!! everything else he cant even hit the strikezone....

Great stuff but you gotta watch that API pitch call option , cant be throwning 3 FB in a row like the catcher calls. Got burned a few times lol , dont get lazy change zones and speeds .
EDIT: I won 6-2 , came back from 2-0 in the 7,8 and 9th .
They brought in P cotts L vs righties ???.
As I continue to play more and more I cant say it enough momentum plays a big part in this game

YES YES YES!!!!!!!!! momentum plays a huge part!!! whwnever they get momentum it looksl iek a 20 yr old or 40 yr old is pitching......
update: down 1-0 then down 4-0... came back in 6,7 to go ahead 5-4 ... K-Rod got the save.....

I've noticed that my starting pitchers get knocked around just as much as there pitchers do but i lose stamina 10x faster.. maybe check the sliders??????

You have to do mound vists at the correct time to help your pitch con and sta/energy a bit too .
also with energy down it doesnt matter much but watch your confidence its the killer lol.

Ps I was up 3-2 in the 8th and they were coming hard but I got out of it and they seemed to quit when I went up 6-2 kinda like real ball , whatever AI they have in this game its reallly good.
