Injury wise i havent started my franchise yet so cant really say, you should just do what you feel comfortable with on that one.

On the pitching confidence question, no i dont believe it does make a difference as all that does is turn off the visual display of the confidence, its still there going on, being calcluated in the background.

Give them a good few games before making any evaluations though please

Ok thanks man, I really believe the injury slider should be at 1 or 2. I think you're going to find out you have to many simulated injuries and the way the game is set up it's going to end up killing you because even if you put them on the DL you can't replace them. You are going to have to play a man short somewhere. So I think the less chance for an injury you have the better.

Also I used auto baserunning, with your steal frequency at 6 do you think that's a fair amount. I'm playing with them now and Grady Sizemore got on with a walk and took off on a 2-1 count.

I'm going to do what you said and not make any conclusions after one game, I'm just wondering about that particular slider and how it plays with auto baserunning on.

Hey Psycho, thanks much for these.

Question: Do you swing-only, or do you aim as well?

Braves, i always do my own baserunning so dont know how it would react on Auto, just see for yourself and adjust to your own taste, and thanks for the input re:injuries.

          Infinite, swing only my man

Good stuff Psycho, I'm a cpu v cpu "player" and I've been busy tinkering with my sliders, which I feel are just about there, however, I'll give yours a go tomorrow night for this method of "playing" and see what gives in that department.

            Cheers mate

I have been following Psychos sliders since mlb 2k7 (before we wised up and went to the show) lol. Without a doubt, I think Psycho's sliders have the broadest appeal, despite however you play, you will enjoy these. Psycho is not lying and he has preached it since 2007, play at least 15-20 games, you we will see.

Thanks for the kind comments Ninjoid and lwt, and hes right folks, you really will need to play at least 15-20 games to see the full spectrum of what they can offer. Playing one and winning 12-2 or losing 1-0 doesnt mean a thing.

Man, I was so excited to try them out, but my PS3 started freezing now. Never happened before. I was able to get into the 1st inning of a game, then the audio started cycling and the game froze....sigh. I restarted and it won't get past the SCEA intro screen now =/

Hopefully it just needs to cool off (it's 90 degrees here now). It's well ventilated though, so we'll see.

I want to try them out.

Yeah I'm going to do that, I'm going to play the first 3 weeks of my franchise with these and see how I do with them. The only thing I'm adjusting is the injury slider, the rest I'm going to leave as is.

Just finished my first game with these I won 7-2 I was the Dodgers vs the Giants. Kuroda vs Cain. I put up 3 in the first Cain walked the first 2 batters of the game and that got the inning rolling for me. They scored on a sac fly in the 3rd to make it 3 to 1. In the 6th Cain walked the first batter and was pulled the reliever walked the next guy and then Kemp hits a 3 run shot. They added a run in the bottom of that inning and then I scored on more in the 8th. Broxton struck out the side in the 9th to end it for me. I walked 6 times and I didnt walk them any. I struck out 7 times and they struck out 8 times. My strike % was a little high at 74% but I was really pitching to contact a lot of the game as the Giants dont have many scary hitters. Their strike % was around 63 % for the game. Overall things felt great going to try and get in a couple of more games tonight. Oh and by the way this was with cpu comback OFF and everything played fine as once I got to my pen Wade, Saito and Broxton struck out 5 between them over 3 innings and only gave up 1 hit. Having said that I have yet to see crazy cpu comebacks at all. Sometimes they rally against me sometimes they dont sometimes I rally on them sometimes I dont sometimes the games are close sometimes they arent thats baseball and this game does a great job replecating that. Anyway Psycho these seem really good but like I said just 1 game so I will be sure to leave you some more feedback......thanks for the sliders.

Cheers for the feedback but as you say, we need a lot more than just one game.

After tampering with CPU Comeback ON i have to say i see no difference so am going back to OFF myself.

If you can Joe/Guys try and keep box scores (just the very simple ones) to stick up on here when you get chance so i can build up a database of how its averaging out. My last 3 games for instance (im the red team) were:

                            DET 6 13 1
                            HOU 5 11 0

                            TB 3 8 0
                            BOS 2 9 0

                            WAS 4 9 0
                            PIT 1 7 0

                            Cheers guys.

Having played two games I am noticing that I am not getting too many hits in the alleys or in between fielders, I am getting a very realistic games with nail biters I must say, the hitting might be just me but they dont seem to throw the gravy pitch very often, which is fine just some time to get used to. I did have a play in the field where buddy did not catch the ball at the fence I just got there in time but he did not seem to recognize and go into the animation. I really like these sliders and will continue to test, the best I have tried so far without question, the ball seems to really jump now with the extra power but I still have no homers in two games. Sorry just remembering more stuff as I go, the foul balls seem to be right on the money also with strikeouts, seeing different foul ball animations and areas! Influence is off for me and guess pitching also, will get back to you with more info. Great job these sliders are a definite improvement!
