I hear you but even with auto baserunning on YOU can control your baserunners you gotta use L1 for leadoffs , If slow runner I wont click it till after the pitcher is in motion, you might wanna also lower cpu pickoffs to 0 as the R1 and R2 are slow to react almost frozen and youll get picked off taking a normal lead in a key situation.
L2 advances all runners and is great in hit n run situations .
Runners depending on speed and arm will be thrown out at times but 3 is as good as it gets.
R1 and R2 make runners go back .
Hope this helps you

Ps I also use assist sliding ,it helps alot
Bulk I am double checking Arm strength at 4 and liking it , because of teams like the Chi Sox had trouble scoring men from 2b with 2 outs ala Kornerko , Thome and AJ speed issues and it cost them many 2 out runs and they had to hold um at 3rd . I dont wanna make it generic everyone scores which would take away from the game and your sliders.
I also noticed it makes turning DPs a little bit slower at 3 cpu/hu IMO after playing 100s of games , just something you notice overtime , especially 3b and 1b slow release even with high meter power and reaction at 10.
Oh Same thing with SS in the hole .
So as I said before they should have had 2 sliders OF/INF arm strength but its still servicable .
