So far with these sliders, I am 15-5 with the Mariners in Spring Training.
    .300 avg
    3.14 ERA
    48 doubles
    2 triples
    20 homeruns

The average is a bit high because of some flukes.
    Josh Bard .522
    Chris Woodward .471
    Eric Byrnes .407
    Casey Kotchman .400

So far, I am digging these sliders.

I am using these slider on Veteran/Veteran difficulty settings and I really enjoy these !!!!

      Thank you for sharing it.

Oh, BTW ! When you say "pitcher control : 6"; it means, default slider +1 or from 0 to 6 (6/10).
      Thank you.

I know it's more a ME problem, but how are your SP's "K" totals? Recording "K's" are my only problem here...

        Thanks in advance...

These sliders are really really really good!

I am currently 35-12 (or just about) with the Yankees and I am having a great season thus far.

I am at the end of May and ARod has 17 HRs, Tex has 22 (started out hot), Cano 8, Swisher 12, Jeter 4, Nick Johnson 5, Granderson 10, Posada 8.

I know the game is much more then HRs but I am getting a realstic amount with the players and I am really enjoying them. Also I am getting tons of doubls with everyone

Jeter, ARod, Johnson, Cano, Granderson all have 12-17 doubles.

I am all over the place in this post because I am not playing at the moment and just going off my head, but I am having great results w/ these!

That seems like a lot of home runs for 47 games. Tex has 22 in 47 games? He is on pace for like 80.

I'm having a lot of home runs on these sliders on All-Star too, even after bumping the power slider down to 3 for both the CPU and myself. For example, through six games Ryan Zimmerman has six home runs. He's hit one in every single game except one, including one two home run game. I've allowed seven home runs in that same amount too. I've only allowed twenty runs but some of them were with guys on base so it's possible that as much as 75% of the runs I've given up have come from homers. I think I'm going to slide the power down to zero and see what happens.

I am averaging 7-8 k's per game for my pitching staff. Believe it or not, Ian Snell has more k's than King Felix.

Hey guys, I just started my franchise today using Pyscho's sliders. I believed I used them last year as well with minor tweaks and it made the game play so much better.

I wanted to talk about reaction time and how it pertains to the overall speed of outfielders. with the slider set to max, does it make it difficult to get extra base hits. I know the fielder speed is set to 1 which is what I would have put anyway, however, does such a high setting reduce the extra base hits.

It may just be me, but I feel like I'm seeing the outfielders catch way too many balls that should be singles or extra base hits.

I just wanted an opinion on this setting. For now, I'll try and put the reaction to 6 to see how it feels. I think I had it at that setting last year as well, (and possibly asked this exact same question as well.LOL)

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Mac: I’m saying that I did an ocular assessment of the situation, garnered that he was not a security risk and I cleared him for passage.

Hey Pyscho, do you think that someone has an unfair advantage when they have guess pitch and strike zone on? I tried turning them both off but then I can't do anything.

I`m playing with the sliders as posted on All-Star level. I`m currently playing a post-season with the Yankees having simmed the season.

Contrary to those saying they are hitting homers - I`m struggling maybe 1 a game with A Rod or another power hitter. The CPU is hitting at least 2 HR`s maybe more if I leave a pitcher in too long which I have a habit of doing.

I am finding the wind to have a huge impact on the number of HR`s - I had a 17mph tailwind in one game and hit 6 HR`s - most over 400 ft. In another game 12mph wind against but to the right and no HR`s.

I am finding great results with these sliders some close low scoring pitching duels to extra innings shootouts. Nice range of singles, doubles and the odd triple too.

Stats are right around those posted in the thread - combined 9 runs - sometimes a little more sometimes as little less. Around 16 - 18 hits. Maybe only 2-3 combined walks though rather than the 6.6 average of 2006-2008 but that`s a user batting/pitching issue. I throw too many strikes which may account for giving up to many homers. I also tend to hit out more if a ball is in the zone rather than taking it - that said I get a few hits that way enabling me to manufacture runs making up for relatively few HR`s.

Oddly I find it a little easier to hit HR`s on All-Star than on Veteran - maybe it`s a timing issue or I could actually be getting a little better !

                          Thanks Psycho - Great Stuff.

If that's for your team as a whole, it's certainly reasonable. 7-8 K/9 would've put you in the top half of the majors in 2009:

I played withe guess pitch at first, and couldnt hit nothing AT ALL!

But with practice you get better, and I was able to make the adjustment with in 3 games I'll say.

What I ended up doing, once I got good with out guess pitch, is I turned it back on but with no feedback, and I dont use all the time, only when I am actually no guessing but know whats coming. I mostly do hit ball see ball.

                              Keep at it!

man i cant get ANYTHING going against the starters (and computer cant really do anything against mine either), im playing on vet pitching, rookie hitting.

So far ive played the first 3 game series of the season with me as the white sox, vs the tribe.

I just got shut out on 5 hits by Westbrook. And lost 1-0, I had gavin Floyd going for me. Gordon Beckham lead off the 9th and i hit a routine ground ball to SS. I checked the swing, Meatball - Perfect Timing. uhhh

I can crush the relievers though, and bobby jenks is 0-1 with 2 blown saves in 2 appereances for me, I gave up 7 runs in the top of the 9th the second game of the series to blow a 3 run lead. =( Help?
