    Looking good.

Question though, can you elaborate on the Manager Hook? I've been seeing pitchers stay in too long on default. I especially get frustrated when the CPU brings in a reliever (which looks like a situational sub, for example a lefty vs. lefty) and I start stringing together hit after hit and he stays in while I put the game out of reach.

I also hammered Marquis for 6 runs in the 7th, he was getting tired, I had an 8-0 lead, and I was surprised to see him come right back out the next inning.

cub, they are for AS, but im told last years worked fine on HOF so no reason to think they wont again.

triplethreat & cras, yep, you two can also see where im coming from, there really isnt a need for sweeping changes this year like in 08 and 09.

      Enjoy.

paris, yeah, the hook is a funny one, sometimes i see starters who are all over the place left in too long, other times i see hurlers who are on fire yanked too early only for their bullpen to blow it for them, i guess i put it down to "quirkiness" among the CPU managers, especially if its Dusty Baker lol. Because ive seen both extremes ive left it at DEFAULT and will just see how it runs.

Re: *****The 'Perfect' Slider Set***** MLB 10 - The Show

Just played my 1st game with these ... not posting results, just saying thanks. Coulda won the game in the last inning, but Beckham's HR crossed the foul poul ... 5 feet to the wrong side.

                Good game.

                2 things I will say ...

[1] Fielder reaction must have to do with the initial jump the "assist" provides or work in the opposite direction. 5 attempted dives in the game, no catches. One ball hit Alex Gordon in the face, which made for a nice screenshot.

[2] 3 guys were thrown out at 3rd base ... but I giess this is a problem that the The Show, as a series, has had. Sliders cannot overcome (completely) programming ... as I learned from playing the 2K series. *grin*

To combat this try lowering fielder arm strength to three while keeping baserunner speed at default.. That's how I have it and it has made it much better. I had to put fielder speed and reaction at default as well though, otherwise guys will get too many triples on what should have been doubles. It's a sacrafice I had to make to tone down all the guys getting thrown out on the bases. I still find I'm getting really good results. The rest of my sliders are almost the same as the ones posted here.

                      Psycho,
Do you have any gameplay or global options worth mentioning? I don't know if these are considered in the same sense as sliders but just wondering what you play with (or do you consider them all user preference?). The main ones I am curious about are guess pitch and power swing, if you use them or not.
                      Thanks
                      RC

Gonna give these a try using classic pitching, I'll see how they work out.

                          Thats exactly what it is.

Stickum, i never ever play with Guess Pitch, power swing very rarely (99% of all my homeruns come with normal swing), have all aids off bar ball marker to fade and fielding ball marker.

I played on AS for eight games and won eight straight. Ever since my eye for balls and strikes improved I have been winning. HOF is ok but the CPU seems to swing way to much. Are these sliders more difficult then basic AS.

Keep in mind that I suck so bad at classic pitching as I just started to use it, so I had to lower the skill down to Veteran, but these work good for me so far, especially the pitch count and the strikes to balls ratio. Looks good.
