I'm also having a bit of an issue with doubles. Too many close plays at 2nd on what should be a rather routine double. This might have something to do with how hard they are hit, but I have solid hits zero'd out. Maybe the OFers are getting to the ball a tad too soon.

Anyway, looking forward to these as I have used them the past two seasons and highly recommend them. Thanks for all your work.

Edit: Oh yeah, and triples. I've had an inordinate amount of CPU OFer's diving and missing balls, then having them roll to the wall for a triple. I don't know if they are maybe getting closer than they should have been able to, or what is causing this (possibly just an anomaly?), but I hope you have something for that as well.
Ive tried to address all the glaring stuff i could, including much of what you mention.

Almost set now guys for a release tomorrow

Mabye lowering the fielder reaction would be good to counteract the outfielders getting to balls to quickly ? I noticed on Skyboxer's set he had the fielder reaction turned all the way down.

In other words, I love your slider sets and for anyone 50/50.. try them!

I don't know what I was more excited for, the release of the actual game or the release of Bulk's sliders.

Nah...Reaction seems to affect infielders more, and fielder speed is more for outfielders.

If you turn down reaction, the infielders become close to useless....they let a lot of weak stuff go right under their glove and don't react until the ball is 2 feet from them. If anything, Reaction should be raised.

I don't normally get involved in the back-n-forth type threads, but I actually have to agree with you.

I don't see the point of this thread at all. 3 days just to announce that sliders are coming?

Anyway, i was actually interested to see what the slider settings might look like and be able to compare them to sliders of other levels, sliders of other users, etc. But, then I see the thread is just a "coming soon", and I don;t understand why. If they're done, post em. If they're close to done, post em. Let the discussion, feedback, etc begin. I don;t see the point of testing the sliders for 1-3 more games or waiting a day, as if it would be the difference between "perfection" and just being "really, really good".

Just my opinion, take it for what it's worth.

They arent done, otherwise they would be posted.

I put this thread up before they were ready for the simple reason i had over 10 PM's asking when this years were coming.

Guys, this is my slider thread, either use them or dont when they are up but please, take the crap elsewhere otherwise ill just get a mod to delete it, i want this thread (for obvious reason) to be discussions about the sliders only, nothing else.

What's the big deal guys? The sliders aren't ready yet so chill out. Psycho does a great job with these and I rather him take his time and get them as close to perfect as possible then just throw them out there to be tweaked a million times. I want a great set of sliders that I don't have to worry about so I can start my franchise once Knight's rosters come out. Don't attack Psycho because he wants to stick to his guns and get the sliders as perfect as possible before he releases them. Why don't you go make your own sliders then? I appreciate you Psycho!

Well, I for one am glad you posted early. I've loved your sliders the past two years and am eager to try the new ones. Posting early has kept me informed on when they might be available instead of having to check back daily. Thanks for the updates. Can't wait to try them out once they are ready.

... and as others have said, I'm glad you take the time to really test them, and don't post them until you're ready. It's paid off the past couple seasons and I'm sure your new set will be just as great. Thanks for the hard work! Your efforts save me a ton of time that I don't have and make a great game even that much better! Will be chomping at the bits tomorrow

I totally agree with the post above, THANKS for putting forth the effort. All the other losers out there can just get the hell out and go create your own sliders....what a bunch of morons. I very much look forward to trying your sliders.

                              Hey Psycho,

Just wondering after reading a few posts why do you prefer meter to Classic?
I recently started using classic pitching this year as I felt meter really takes away from the pitching aspect. The reason I say this is because each pitcher has a unique delivery all his own, and with classic pitching this seems better because each guys release point and break on pitches mustbe determined by the user, in my opinion of course.

The meter seems robotic to me, meaning all you really have to do is time it right and hit the yellow line. Pretty easy for a lot of Veterans of the series. Classic really enhances release points and really decreases the need to adjust the sliders for the user.

This is all my opinion, of course. I really enjoy looking forward to your sliders every year, but just wanted to provide my thoughts since I changed my approach this year and maybe others may want to give it a shot.

So true. Turn down reaction, and it turned my infield into a bunch of 50 year old men with bad backs, couldnt bend down to tie a shoelace let alone pick up a ground ball.

I upped up fielder reaction and speed and used solid hit to make it balance out. I see so many people setting reaction and speed to zero, and to me it just no longer looks like a Major League game anymore.
I will see you at THE SHOW!!
