To be fair, I don't use these sliders, but...

I am on AS (essentially Default) using Classic, and I can show you a 13 game stretch with an ERA of less!

But, I can also show you an April of over 4.10.

And I can show you a July of 3.17 (by far my best month of the year).

You need to play plenty more games before knowing for sure, so hang in there. My team ERA is at 3.68 currently, thanks to the July noted above.

I literally just went a 5 game stretch where I think I gave up a total of like 8 runs. Then SEA had to go and embarrass my De La Rosa for 10 earned over 2.1 IP. Yikes!
Alright I'll just stay with it then. But even when I played on HOF my ERA was still like 3.50 and I was 4th or 5th in the league in ERA and that was in June. But I will play more on AS and see how it goes.

Which pitching interface are you using?

I use analog, but I have made the meter a lot smaller than the default one.

Have you tried lowering Consist, crains? I know that Analog is VERY user-oriented interface. If it keeps up, and your Bronson Arroyo is looking like Justin Verlander, give a few exhibition games or minor league starts to fix your Consist/Control sliders.

Thanks man, and funny you mention that, Arroyo is 6-2 with a 2.93 ERA. I will work on that though.

Turned consistency down to 3, had a difficult time pitching strikes, which isnt a bad thing. Gave up 4 runs on like 10 hits with Arroyo on the mound against the Pirates, but i quit the game in the 7th i think, I will play a full game tonight and see how it goes.

EDIT: After playing the Pirates again with consistency at 3, Arroyo only gave up 2 runs. I'm going to switch back to HOF for pitching. I was giving up a decent amount of runs and still able to win some. How come no one uses analog? lol .

I like analog and have been trying to tune sliders for it as well as classic. My only beefs with it are:
                        1) Some broadcast cameras have the pitching meter block an entire left or right handed hitter or taken up a aesthetically terrible part of the screen.
                        2) It's way too easy to hit your spots and user walks are difficult unless you intentionally pitch for a walk.
                        3) Along with #2, when you do miss your spots it generally misses over the plate. This drives me nuts. If you aim low in the dirt, and miss the meter the ball is high and over the middle instead of diving into the dirt. You aim outside and miss the meter and ball dives over the plate instead of missing way outside. This is mostly because the meter direction is the location and it's much easier to get balls over the plate than outside which IMO should not be the case.

With the Cooperstown set last night Opening Day, STL vs MIA I lit up Josh Johnson and MIA for 17 hits on this setting. I did manage to only hit one bomb though.

I felt as if I could hit anything in that game.

The following game, Lester vs. Verlander. Lit up JV for 9 hits and 5 ER.

I need some more consistency in not being able to shell pitchers the way that I am.

I should also add that I switched from Timing to Zone as I felt that I could control my hit variety a bit better. Thoughts?
