Definitely going with these once I get my copy of this year's game. Used your sliders last year and never looked back.

What are you guys seeing in the way of errors? I am seeing only 1 error combined every 2-3 games, sometimes going 3-4 games without seeing any errors at all.

I have made some tweaks. And they are up to date on page one. I think we may finalize them soon. It's all about sample size, and that continues to grow.

But the set on page one plays really awesome, both on pure All-Star and the Hybrid set.

It seems like I see at least a couple of errors per game. I'm not sure what MLB averages are, but I think they're happening at a realistic clip with these sliders. I use Analog fielding with the throw meter OFF, so players' individual fielding ratings are dictating the errors each game.

For example, I was playing as the Dodgers vs. Angels a couple of days ago, and Hanley Ramirez had a TAYLOR EFFING MADE double play ball which would've ended the game. But what does he do? He throws it over Mark Ellis's head, which extends the inning, which led to me losing the game.

Errors definitely happen, and sometimes they are game changers like the one I just mentioned.

I just went back and looked at my last 9 box scores. 0 errors by the CPU in those 9 games, 4 errors by me but as I said one of those errors was an accidental throw cancellation, not a real error. Your example of Hanley botching a double play has happened to me too. But that's one error in one game. Not a trend.

fielding error at 7 and throwing errors at 6 fix this problem.

love the sliders, but i had something weird happen, a guy hit a 3 run home run off the foul pole and it should be 5-2 but it's only 4-2 lol

I've been working on an HoF set. But I feel really good about this set. I think A&S and I are in sync with what we feel needs to be worked on. And right now, it's not very much.

                    Re: Armor & Swords/Marino's - MLB The Show 13 Timed/Classic Sim Sliders

Just played my first game with these and LOVE them! Did a postseason to test these out as the Orioles, and went against Texas in the wildcard. I won 4-3 in a complete nail-biter that went 11 innings. I'm new to baseball, so sorry I don't know the most important stats to tell you, but I finished with 8 hits, to Texas' 16 hits.

My first two runs came in the first inning off back to back single HRs. After that, Darvish had his way with us, holding us scoreless and only giving up 3 more hits until Lindblom relived him in the 8th inning. Lindblom won us the game imo as he gave up 2 runs on 2 hits in his 3 innings played. Frasor closed out for them and only gave up 1 hit.

Tough time hitting for us, as Markakis finished 0-4, Jones finished with 1 hit on 5 ABs, and Wieters went 0-5. Our runs came from Roberts (2-5, 1 run), Hardy (1-5, 1 run), Mclouth (1-4, 1 run), and Machado (1-4, 1 run).

Again, being new to baseball (played a few matches, including 2 online since I bought this game however) I didn't know how long to leave my starter in (I went with Gonzalez this game), and I saw that he was getting tired, so I retired him after the 5th inning. His day ended with him allowing 1 run on 3 hits. Patton replaced him and gave up 4 hits in 2 innings, but no runs thankfully. For inning 8, I put in Strop, my set up pitcher, and he only gave up 1 hit that inning.

For the 9th, I put in my closer, Johnson. I left him in the rest of the game, with the exception of what turned out to be the last out of the game, and in that time he choked and gave up 2 runs on 8 hits. 11th inning, bases loaded, Texas AB. Johnson's energy is super low so I hit visit mound to try and give him a timeout, but I guess I did it too many times, as it made me sub him out. So I ended up putting O'day in in a horrible situation: Bases loaded, we're only up by 1, and O'day in ice cold. I pitch a 2SFB, and luckily the hitter hit straight to first, and I got him out! We advance to the official first round!

If you want to replicate the amount of errors in a MLB game the best way to do that is play with Autofielding and manual throwing w/ No feedback.

This is my favorite way to play to make the ratings matter the most but you still get to choose if you need to throw the ball hard (hold the button) or soft (tap) given the situation. The more control you have over the game the less the ratings matter. I started using autofielding after A&S mentioned it and it works great along with timing hitting and Classic pitching!

I played with autofielding a little bit, but tbh I enjoy assisted more. I am more involved in the non-hitting side of the ball, and that makes the game more fun for me. What would you all suggest for realistic fielding settings on assisted. I'd still like to get errors when appropriate.

How experienced are you with Classic Pitching?

You need to get them to chase pitches out of the zone which they do at a realistic clip this year.

Also against weaker hitters...go after them. Get them to put the ball in play, and try not to paint the corners all the time.

Getting 8-10 pitch innings can be done and has been done. Plenty of times coming off a 25 pitch inning I will bounce back with a 8 pitch inning (same for the CPU). That is the ebb and flow of baseball. Embrace it.

And don' throw your controller out the window....this game should be fun and realistic.

I have not tested that as I do Auto Fielding (manual throw). So I can't answer that. The best thing for you to do is play around with the fielding errors slider and click it up one click at a time and play at least 5-7 games with each click up. If your getting what you feel is right for your experience....then you will get it done.

By the sounds of it you are seeing around 15 or so pitches per inning (can't tell if you are near 50 to start or end the 3rd inning by your post).
