Re: Official 1995-1998 Classic Roster Project
Hey man - love the idea and the work that you drSublime put into the classic CAPs. I was somewhat motivated by the idea - I started making some of my own CAPs, but may start my project based on the '98 season, using what you released as a base - only to get the Rays and Dbacks included - I will share my finished CAPs with you when I do them, you would only have to back date the ratings. I started on the Blue Jays today - let me know if you want the stuff I have done
Willard
I'll still be doing the 98 season regardless, but I wasn't aware anyone else was doing it too.
You'll probably finish it before me, so I doubt I'm going to upload it afterwards, but I'll see what you have in a few weeks when I start the 97 set and we can go from there.
Thanks a lot.I post the frog

Sweet. All I have left is Detroit at the moment before I release, but when I move on to some NL teams I will definitely let you know if the offer is still standing.
Thanks a lot.

Re: Official 1995-1998 Classic Roster Project
Alright guys, I have completely finished the AL and included Milwaukee (technically still in the AL) and ATL.
The file should be up in the vault as you read this under "1996 Complete AL Preview" by baumy300.
Enjoy!
Spoiler
I just caught this now (used Detroit for the first time) but I managed to make an error on Travis Fryman. On his batting gloves, one of the colors is "blue" but it really should be "navy blue." It's a big deal when he's in the batters box, but you should be able to fix it easily. I already have for the final release.

Re: Official 1995-1998 Classic Roster Project
Gonna have to check me out some big hurt when I get home! I loved these White Sox teams of the 90s. Very anxious to see 1998 done as well, I'd like to take an expansion team on and see what happens with them under my management! Do you have to do reratings for all of the players from season to season? I think Willard was just going to use your roster to add in those two teams and not rerate so I'm not sure--confused a bit I guess.Comment

Re: Official 1995-1998 Classic Roster Project
Wasup My Dude Baumy!
I got a chance to look through every AL Team, and I got to say that this is top notch work at its finest from the detailed work you have done, to the creations of the faces of the players, its mind blowing to some of the likeness these players are representing. My setting are also using Armor Sliders you recommended to me and I use Dynamic Pitching, Hitting, and Fielding, along side with classic controls and classic base running.
These pictures I post will be coming at you @ 1920x1080 Resolution Full HD!
Without further to do Game Recap!
Tonights Match of the Official 1995-1998 Classic Roster Project AL Preview
Will featureThe Baltimore Orioles Vs The New York Yankees
David Cone would get the nod to start this classic match up.
Coming to the plate first and who would grab pine and be the first victim to cones power would be Roberto Alomar
Cone would sit everyone down in fine fashion, coming out with a strong start.
Mike Mussina would get the nod to start out this classic match up as well.
Derek Jeter would come up first only to pop out.
Wade Boggs would pop out.
Heavy Slugger Paul O'Neil would be next who grounded out to end the 1st inning.
David Cone would continue mowing batters down.
Legendary Eddie Murray would get the first single of the game.
Loving David Cones Stride
Paul O'neil jacks one to strike first for the pin stripes
Brandy Anderson, would answer right back with a shot of his own.
Daryl Strawberry would yell at the Ump for the K ring up.
Cone was having a monster game at this point he was around 8 - 10 K's on me! He would end up with 11ks i think and 100 total!
Eddie Murray Continued to hit and keep the focus!
Cal The Man Ripken Jr. would cause Havoc later in this game!
Jesse Orosco came in lights out
Cone would be pulled after giving up a slid hit, and thats when things got really bad for them Bronx Bomber's, pitcher after pitcher they went through as the bats seem to catch fire for Baltimore, we exploded with home runs back to back to back which was a first for me, never done that in any baseball video game!, singles, loading the bases, bring in runs! the patience finally paid off!
Cal sends a bomb shot! Alomar congrats him! another pitcher gone!
Brandy Anderson would come and jack one DEEP!
Nelson cant believe it! He's taken out, only to bring in the main man the legend of all legends none other that the great Mario Rivera! surely he can stop this onslaught!
Noped he gives up a bomb to Rafael Palmeiro
Bob Wickerman's turn ?
he would finally stop the bleeding
Strawberry had, had enough he came in and jacked one deep off of Orosco, that would be it for him after going 3 extr solid innings!
cal would do more damage with bases loaded
your final and few extra stat pics for you to see.....
I had a lot of fun in this game, at first I was swinging at everything David Cone Through, thats just how Tricky his pitches were coming at me, his 12 to 6 Curve ball is just Unbelievable! ( trust me on that jack ), it took me a few innings to calm down and really focus, That game caused my hitting to go up to Veteran, and my Pitching! overall are impressions for this mod, is fantastic work, when this is done it will be totally awesome, thank you for spending the time and effort you have put into this bro.I stream a variety of video games for relaxation and fun.

And damn, when I said let me know what you thought, you let me know! Haha, that is one impressive string of pictures brotha, but I love it.
And yeah, whenever I play with or against Brady Anderson, he either has a HR or a 2B. The guy is a machine on there (just like he was in 96) at the plate.
Have fun with the other teams too. That Cleveland team is just plain dirty!I post the frog

Re: Official 1995-1998 Classic Roster Project
First off man, I really appreciate that. I want to put the extra details in these sets so I can get as close to bringing these players to life as possible with my current abilities. Like with the game, I take pride in the little things as well. (And it doesn't hurt when drsublime and pjsnell already put the faces on the bigger named players so well)

PSN is baumy300 and Kik is Idolized_1 if you ever want to set up a game.
As for the rosters, they're going okay except for the fact I have been having computer problems. I may buy a new one tomorrow so it doesn't keep slowing me down.I post the frog
