I am re rating potentials the top 50 are in stone already..

Top 20 of each team will be rerated..

And the rest of the 90 man roster will be rerated as well based on overall and what farm they are in..

If it's a number one farm system obviously there is gonna be less change in good prospects.. However if they aren't on the top 20 and still considered a prospect they will take a small potential drop.. This will rate from

    Superb farm
    Excellent farm
    Good farm
    Average farm
    Poor farm

This will keep things realistic to how real life is based on the farm systems.

Just wanted to throw that out there should hopefully get most of the ratings finalized by the end of the weekend we will see. Got my daughter so it will be a little tough.

I fantasy draft all my offline franchises, how would this affect the prospects and the farm ratings?

20/80 rule. I see what you are doung (#1 in LAA not goid compared to #1 HOU prospect but they have to be compared to eachother--really just think of them as the chance they contribute to the big club. Just thinking out loud.

Sorry for delay on M's will have time tonight to knock those out and shoud have updates for the major leaguers by tomorrow.

As for minor league guys, does anyone have a reliable source of pitch info for minor league players? I've tried scouring the net for some of the prospects I know offhand but there isnt quite anything as useful as what we get from Fangraphs or brooks baseball. Any suggestions on what people have been using?

A top 20 prospect will still contribute it just means the angels won't b loaded with high potential prospects. As to where the stros cubs twins have very very deep farms. Angels playing to win now where these teams are stockpiling for the future.

To speak more on this now... Any prospect that is in the top prospect list will keep a good potential of an A-B.

However the other guys might drop to a high c if they are in a worse system.. This keeps the game more realistic and doesn't over inflate farms that shouldn't be over inflated.. It brings an awesome challenge to an owner as well if they take over say the angels or brewers.. They will have to trade or build for the future eventually. Along with some other teams..

This also keeps every team from becoming stacked if they aren't a top 20 prospects for a team their potential drops some.. There is also dynamic potential that comes Into play as well.. So just because so and so is a 77 potential doesn't mean he can't break out and become a 3rd man in the angels rotation etc etc.

If I only want to play one season would you recommend just using the scea roster. I play on default hall of fame and fear based on previous years custom rosters there may be a serious power outage with everyone's tendency to turn down power immediately rendering 9-7 slugfests impossible. Thanks.

All while legitimately elite prospects are unchanged regardless of team? If so, I like ...

if you mean I am raping power hitters power that would be incorrect I don't roll that way..
if a guy has power he has power I can assure u of that.. however if a guy was overrated he will no longer be..
Stanton, Abreu, Cabrera, trout, pujols, Rizzo, gomez etc etc etc lots of power hitters.
