I'd like to know how in the heck you guys are able to do all of the trade deadline transactions accurately. I mean I've tried to do this myself but can't get it done. The inability to release players directly from a roster. The inability to not make 2+ for 1 player trades. This is a mess! Hardly any of the bigger trades where actually one for one trades. They were nearly all 2+ for 1.

I know the relative rule is just use a lower level player to trade when this happens but it still causes problems with inaccurate rosters. Why can't SCEA just allow us to straight out release players? This would make things so much easier with these trade restrictions. Or, allow 2+ for 1 player trades.

This makes roster accuracy nearly impossible unless I'm missing a way to fix this problem that I don't know about. I was going to wait for this roster here to be released but I already have added a bunch of 2014 draft picks to my roster(Hybrid2a) so using this roster would remove most of those draft picks. I could go back & add them again but I really didn't want to do that. Plus, there seems to be only a select few 2014 picks you guys are adding anyhow while I have all from the 1st round a few from the 2nd round. Thanks!

I'm talking about outside franchise mode bud. This causes all sorts of roster issues. I will be starting a franchise here soon so I guess that will be the only way to go about fixing this. I just wished SCEA would allow a little bit more roster freedom outside franchise mode so we wouldn't have these type of roster issues. Thanks!

It's doable.. U just have to work at it.. I agree they are not very user friendly when it comes to moving players

In order to do 2 for 1 trades etc, you need to have a pool of extras in your roster (FAs and or CAPs) that can be added to replace the 2nd player lost. You also need a fringy guy that probably won't see any action or, even better, a corresponding release of a player to help even out the team getting 2 for 1.

I hate posts like these but I have to ask because I've seen people butchering him in the game recently. What does it look like McCutchen's overall will be for V3?

They've said time after time that you can't look at the overall to get an idea of the player's skills. Individual ratings are far more important, especially when looking at the CF position where speed and defense are so highly weighted when configuring overall. I know it's difficult to completely disregard overall ratings, but it makes sense in this situation.

I'm not looking at the overall to determine his skill. I'm not going to ask for every single individual skill. Looking at his overall I can gather where his attributes most likely are.

I make rosters, I'm a roster editor. I know overall means little.

But if someone tells me an overall, I can gather whether or not they fixed other roster editor's **** ups such as taking all attributes relating to Andrew McCutchen's base running ability and making them 45 or lower.

His stealing and speed were there as well. I assume whoever's roster I downloaded was mad about something lol.

Whenever I seen him as an 84 overall, I knew something was off and those are the three primary changes I seen to him.

That's my point! We can't just release a player though outside of franchise mode. We're allowed to do this only in franchise mode in which I haven't started yet. Trying to get all of these moves right but not being able to with the roster restrictions. Oh well, it will have to be done once I start my chise! Thanks!
