Re: 2014 OSFM HYBRID UPDATE - V3
I think I speak for Teeds and WTNY in saying we appreciate everyone's anticipation and excitement in waiting for these roster's. Speaking as someone who has had minimal involvement on this version, but enough to have seen many of the changes - I will say this is by far the best Hybrid there has been - there has been phenomenal work done of faces - the Ps4 editor and time since initial release has given teeds and a few others a chance to really improve what was already some great work by the OSFM guys - I myself even with the PS4 version was still doing most of my editing for the first versions on my Ps3.
This should also give Ps3 users and very nice update, I am actually going to test this roster out on my Ps3 once it is done just to see the difference
Now we just need to get Sounds of the Show into the Ps4 version and make this the best game out there

Re: 2014 OSFM HYBRID UPDATE - V3
I just asked if you you guys planned on getting the release out by the end of the month. Did I ask for you to give an ETA? Nope because dates can't be given for roster releases. I simply asked if it was in the plans to get it out by the end of August. What's wrong with that because that's not asking for an ETA. Thanks!
For everyone following along and no one in particular:
All I can say for an ETA is hopefully sometime soon. It's not going to help anyone to keep asking though. It will be done when it's finished. Not a moment before and not a moment later than that. If you want to wait for this set before you start something up--that's your choice. If not, that's also your choice. Please no guilt trips about how you have time off or some other thing or twisting our words to interpret them to mean we are doing you an injustice somehow etc..
Whether you ask for a percentage of completion, or an exact day, or a vague which month these will be done, that is all still asking for an ETA. As I just mentioned, I've answered different permutations of this exact same question several times within the previous few pages of this thread, so, please don't get offended when we keep saying there isn't one.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

People will end up using whichever roster comes out first between this and whatever the other one is called that is getting all the attention. Regardless of which one is better, as long as nothing is flawed greatly, whichever releases first will be the one used by the majority of users here.Comment

Re: 2014 OSFM HYBRID UPDATE - V3
Just an extra teaser guys, last night I got my turn working on the roster and the facial upgrades alone are phenomenal. And for the most part everything transfers back to the ps3 very nicely - I was working from both systems side by side last night, only issue is ps3 users may want to duplicate layers for facial hair to get the exact look.
The work that the guys have put into this since V2 is insane, we have about 12 pages of edits on our worksheet - hats off to teeds for his hard work
As a response to the comment in the post above, while you are probably correct for a good amount of people, for those who know the reputation of this roster, I can tell u it is worth the wait.
I know myself any players I can't get into my Blue Jays roster, I will post the extras in the vault for your use, I know guys were looking for some specific players - since last version I have created Chad Girodo, Kendall Graveman, Jorge Flores, Randy Boone, Matt Newman, Dickie Joe Thon, Mike Reeves, Max Pentecost and also changed or fixed most of my original OSFM players - teeds did a real nice adjustment to my Aaron Sanchez for this release also.

Re: 2014 OSFM HYBRID UPDATE - V3
Willard, I wanted to chime back in & ask you about Daniel Norris. I have watched this kid pitch locally. We live 20 miles from his high school(Science Hill) & watched him pitch a few times. I really thought he had a chance back in 2011 to become an MLB pitcher.
He's showing that right now in the minors. Do you think he's a top 3 in a starting rotation staff or at the back end? I thougt during high school he would be back end but after his performance in the minors he might be top 3 now. He has a nasty curve & slider but his fastball is now even better than a couple years ago too. His changeup is probably his weakest pitch but it's even improved. What do you think of him as a Blue Jays fan? Thanks!NCAA- GO VOLS
NBA- GO CELTICS
MLB- GO BRAVES
NFL- GO COWBOYS
NHL- GO PREDATORS
NASCAR- Chase Elliott
MLS- LA Galaxy
RIP Pat Summitt: We will all miss you!

After this year I would say he shown he has top end rotation potential.. His curve is still average according to many scouting reports. But the rest of his pitches have plus potential.. And yeah his fast ball is pretty nasty.Mizzou Tigers

Just curious boys, what needs the most work or attention for the rosters in general as of right now? I can't wait to see them because they sound like they're gonna be absolutely stellar. Thanks again for all the tireless work, we all appreciate it.Comment

we are finishing off creating players to cover off all the transactions, plus still setting the proper rosters, plus a few other odds and ends - it is close but I know both myself and teeds have very busy weeks ahead in our lives, I would say it should not be too long - depends on how much we can achieve this weekend - I have volunteered my time that I have free this weekend to do as much as I can to help

Re: 2014 OSFM HYBRID UPDATE - V3
After the last couple of dozen CAPs are made and rated/given stances and motions, there will be just a double check of 40-man roster uniform numbering, audio names, and stealing abilities. Does anyone really want to use a roster where Byron Buxton is called "Broxton"? Or where Allan Dykstra is called "****s"? Or where Jonathan Lucroy has a 99 in stealing? lol, I do not, but some of these minor things were prevalent even in the v2 release unfortunately.
I wouldn't expect a release this weekend, but we are on track to meet our non-ETA ETA of "soon".If you guys can be patient for a little bit longer, you'll be rewarded with a roster that will be very good and durable for the long haul in your chises. Teeds has really outdone himself with mixing in organizational depth players (which he has mostly made from scratch and researched) and prospects together. I have also hunted down and fixed reams and reams of typographical errors with regard to age/handedness/height/weight/positions played etc.. CBoller has done a wonderful job with detailed equipment edits (including shoes!) for many players. Willard has sprinkled on his magic dust with face touch-ups and CAPs as well. And, of course, all transactions/lineups are being continually updated.
